There’s never bad animals to add, only Frontier using them at the wrong time or making weird pack compositions. I don’t mind getting another antelope, I just think it depends on how the rest of the pack looks.

Personally I think we have got a lot of antelope within the past couple years, I want some more Deer!

Let’s get some more deer! Genuinely I feel good with the ungulates we got but I really want at least one of the three above.

I'm going to be honest. Other than a muntjac i care more about antelopes than deer. There, i said it.

But to elaborate: we do need asian deer and the wapiti is one of my favorite deer in real life, and marsh deer and pudu would do wonders for SA rep, but the most popular antelopes left are more interesting to me and they do look different from each other while deer... all kind of look the same as the red deer? The we have blackbuck, nilgai, kudu, eland, duikers, gerenuks, bonteboks, etc. all with diferent colourations, sizes, body and face structure, horns, behaviours, etc.

I have to say I really wish zoos wouldn’t do this. If you can’t feature the actual species then don’t structure an exhibit around them.

It’s terrible from an educational perspective. How do you seriously expect people to understand and appreciate the situation of Amur leopards, their habitat and role when they are cosplaying as African leopards?

Then again, the AZA has only 3-6 possibly pure African individuals.
