Yeah Zookeeper had all the signals of a final pack.Pretty clear at this point that they wanted to wind down with Barnyard and Zookeeper but PC2 wasn't successful enough to justify that.

At this point in the game, what would better represent India? The animals I can think of are already in the game.True, the honey badger is a weird choice to represent Asia, but it's also a weird choice to represent India or South Asia
Blackbuck, Gaur, Hog Badgers, Bharal, Langurs, Asiatic Lion, Jackal, Axis Deer, Himalayan Monal, Sarus Crane. At this point in the game, what would better represent India? The animals I can think of are already in the game.
I think so, at least looking at their distribution range they cover most of the tropical AfricaDo Ratels live in Jungles?
For a general Asian theme, I could see them finally adding the zen garden pebbles and Tori gates for Japan and maybe some extra pieces for the existing India and East Asia sets (not sure if they would expand the Indonesian set since it was tied to a DLC). Maybe they can bring the Indian almond tree from Planet Coaster 2 too. However, as you say, with the pillar from the Indian theme in the art, I think we could be getting an exhibit animal this time and no building pieces. I know they decided to remove the exhibit animals in the barnyard, zookeeper and Americas packs, but there have always been comments asking for more exhibits and regretting their omission in those packs. Frontier might have reconsidered that decission. I think researching and designing 80 pieces must require more time and effort than making an exhibit animal. Maybe that's why the wait time this time is shorter. Making clone-ish animals and exhibit animal must be quicker if there is no building theme. If this is a more general asia pack i would assume they would do a different approach for theming, since our other packs with a big asia focus (SEA,tropical) already both go for that temple in the jungle vibe. If i had to do one id probably put like chinese pagodas or something on there because those are instantly recognizeable as asian.
And i think someone pointed out that the pillar in the front of the pack art is from the india theme, so there is that.
Unfortunately, none of those have the marketing power of the Honey Badger... it's not a particularly iconic Indian animal, but it is an extremely iconic animal nonetheless.Blackbuck, Gaur, Hog Badgers, Bharal, Langurs, Asiatic Lion, Jackal, Axis Deer, Himalayan Monal, Sarus Crane.
Why do people always dumb down the average player, they aren't stupid or have some type of neuro problem.Unfortunately, none of those have the marketing power of the Honey Badger... it's not a particularly iconic Indian animal, but it is an extremely iconic animal nonetheless.
Similarly, the coyote wasn't the most ideal mascot for a pack composed mostly of South American animals, but it was still the most recognisable of the bunch to the average player.
The same goes for the Pallas' Cat... Although it's harder to pick an animal that really symbolises zookeepers.
Cats, dogs and meme animals have extremely high appeal because they're instantly recognisable. Of course they're going to be the mascots.
Still, whatever this pack is, it has some potential. I'm slightly optimistic
As mentioned by others, ratels do live in tropical rainforests (especially in Africa) and, just like leopards, it is not unusual for rainforest-dwelling ratels to be melanistic.Do Ratels live in Jungles?
I'm used to zoo guests, and those are a whole different breed of stupid. Why do people always dumb down the average player, they aren't stupid or have some type of neuro problem.
If you generalize "India" to the Indian Subcontinent, that works as a good prefixWe have four pack choices imo, South Asia, Asia, Savannah/Shrublands, India.
I'd say most likely is South Asia.
Where are you getting Savannah or shrublands vibes from that cover art with gigantic river flowing through the Middle of it and tons of tropical rainforest plants all around it?We have four pack choices imo, South Asia, Asia, Savannah/Shrublands, India.
I'd say most likely is South Asia.
I don't see tropical plants and savannahs have rivers.Where are you getting Savannah or shrublands vibes from that cover art with gigantic river flowing through the Middle of it and tons of tropical rainforest plants all around it?
So your calling people stupid because they are misinformed?I'm used to zoo guests, and those are a whole different breed of stupid.
Those who live in glass houses best not throw stonesI'm used to zoo guests, and those are a whole different breed of stupid.
You're saying that I'm stupid because I can't tell two rhinos apart? Those who live in glass houses best not throw stones
Your calling the same people who can't tell lions or birds apart stupid when you can't differentiate a White Rhino and a Black Rhino. You're saying that I'm stupid because I can't tell two rhinos apart?
Misinformation is a thing, actively refusing to be educated is another... And most zoo guests I've interacted with aren't just misinformed: they don't want to learn either, and will try to correct you if you say something that isn't perfectly in line with their limited view of things. So your calling people stupid because they are misinformed?
Read the actual post maybe?Your calling the same people who can't tell lions or birds apart stupid when you can't differentiate a White Rhino and a Black Rhino.
Thats called hypocrisy, Jessie.
