DLC20 Discussion (maybe, but why not?)

People who thought the entire PZ roster would make it in base game to PZ2 were delusional and out of touch with work and financing reality anyway....

What I find more interesting about that trailer is how it looks more like Prehistoric Kingdom than a Jurassic Game. Not a bad thing, just a confusing one.

So if JWE3 is coming in October, I can see why the DLC for the zoo is coming in summer. Hopefully we get another one in September or November to celebrate the anniversary.
Thats what I thought.
Altough, if this JW3-realease in October really means the end of planet Zoo, I don't get, why the did not end at Zookeepers, especially since we think this was planned. ZK is more or less like a "good bye"-pack. Of course, I am happy this was not the case tbh. and we really got 1 other pack and one other coming (eventually) very soon. But, IDK, if India/South Asia really fits the vibe of a good bye?
And, it would be kinda strange, not to celebrate the sixth anniversary, Idk, just seems wrong to me...
On the other hand, with the next animal Pack included, we have 20 Packs, 10 of which are scenery Packs, 10 are animals. I mean, its just a number, buuuut it fits...
I really hope, this does not mean the end of PZ. And, I don't know, do we really know PZ2 is coming, I read so much about PZ2 in the forums, but can we even be sure it will come one day? I would be very happy on one hand, on the other hand, yeah, I would miss all die DLC Animals we have gotten by now and won't be in PZ2 roster in the beginning, heck, maybe some species will NEVER come in a hypothetically PZ2....
I do not really have knowledge into this stuff, I want to say now.

I think after the Planet coaster 2 fiasco, Frontier might be cautious with the JWE3 release. First of all, releasing the game months after the release of the new movie makes me think they don't want to rush it after what happened with PC2. So I think it's possible that Frontier wants to have a safe income source and might be planning to release more Planet Zoo DLCs just in case the new game also bombs.

We don't talk about it anymore, but remember that when they announced they were working on another DLC for Planet Zoo referring to the Americas pack they said "there's lot to come". Now I believe they had already decided to release several DLCs more.

Yes. Is exactly as i expected. JW3 releasing later this year which means no more PZ content after that. I just hope they give us something for the anniversary at least. But yeah next pack is probably the last one. Weird place to end (India) but anything but a worldwide pack would be weird anyway so...
This is what I'm thinking too. Planet Zoo gets this last DLC in June to give them something new to sell in Q1 for FY26. JWE3 drops in October (right in the middle of Q2). And I wouldn't be surprised if we see PC2 DLC start to drop in September too...

India, or any specific regional pack, would be an odd pack to go out on. But I'm very much of the mindset that Zookeeper was meant to be the end but with JWE3 delayed and them not pushing PC2 DLC they needed something to fill the gaps. I am still just really sad that this pack seemingly has zero space for some of my most-wanted critters (tree 'roo, coati) but I'm still pretty excited to see what it brings!
