Yes. God yes. All of that. But I have still schlept my butt to Jaques in a Cutter to help that CG out. I've attended endless CGs. I have no problem spending hours doing things in the game and enjoying it immensely. But there is nothing immensely enjoyable or immersive in looking at a list of ships and realising they are in the wrong places and I'll have to spend an entire session involved in fleet management. So that maybe in the next session I can do the things I wanted to do.
Yes they are throwing things under the bus. They have since Alpha. This, is nothing new. Attacking people who just want to play the same game you do, because they have a slightly different opinion is a garbage attitude. I honestly expected better?
There is a balance, but people are so uncontrollably raging there's no way to actually discuss. No wonder the Dev's don't want to engage. Do you want to be abused endlessly? Probably not.
Heaven forfend that some people not be 100% opposed to the game trying to become marginally more respectful of our time. Maybe that'll have huge unanticipated consequences (well, not actually unanticipated, because literally every possible downside of instant ship transfer, no matter how tenuous or implausible has been shouted from the bell-tower by somebody over the course of the last week). Maybe the concerns about it breaking the game might turn out to be just a TAD hyperbolic. Maybe it'll need to be fixed. Maybe it won't. Either way, the yelling at people who aren't viscerally revolted that ship transfer won't take days to ZOMG GO BACK TO YOUR CALL OF DUTYS YOU ARE NOT WORTHY is getting pretty ****ing tedious.
