07 CMDRs. I've just confirmed my addition to the roster for the expedition, looking forward to seeing you all out there in the black. I'll be flying my Phantom and I'll be taking along an SRV as well as some repair limpets for those 'awkward landings'. I'm a reasonably experienced explorer (Elite), but haven't been on an organised expedition before. I'm currently on my way back to the Bubble for my final preparations before setting off.

Is it correct that the main party will be departing on Sunday at 20:00hrs UTC from Pallaeni? I've had a look though some of the threads and on EDSM, but the route for DW2 isn't on there as yet. I may miss the big setting off party as I'll need to be done by around 17:30, but I'm sure I'll catch up with many of my fellow CMDRs throughout the journey.

Fly safe!

Hi all...got roster confirmation [93A-DW] this morning, so I'll be tagging/lagging along with you all on PS4. Feel free to add me if you're looking for a PS buddy. I'm out in UTC -8 land (California), and I generally play most nights for a couple of hours. I have two SRVs and a seat in my 65.03ly Phantom, Blackwater Park, if you want to just ride along. Fly safe, CMDRs, o7.

Just signed up and will be doing the run in my newly acquired krait phantom. will be spending the weekend getting her ready to do longer jumps hopefully right now she's maxed out at about 18. ly.

You’ll get her up to 60Ly+ fully laden if have access to engineers and the guardian FSD booster.

I was thinking of maybe rounding up the stragglers anyway, so we might very well have a run in. See you ou there! o7

Changed my mind and going to take my Anaconda instead of my Phantom; managed to squeeze in AFMU, repair and fuel limpets, discover scanner, 64T cargo, shields, shield booster, wake scanners, mining laser, 4 heat sinks, SRV and SLF bay (to stretch my legs), and still have a 63/68 LY jump range. I've never used repair or fuel limpets before but they seem straight forward.

I had to engineer my Power Distrubutor to 'high charge' in order to obtain boost capacity; going up a level on the PD would have reduced my jump range quite a bit and possibly required a better Power Plant, which again reduces jump range. Took a bit of tweaking, trial and error but I think I'm happy with it all now!

Shield is class 4, low powered, so not the best - will have to take extra care on my landings.

Must admit that I spent a lot of time 'stripping down' my modules which probably adds about 2 LY to one's range - barely noticeable. If anyone else is thinking about grinding out materials for that mod then my advice is don't bother. I reckon once you get to 60+ range the difference in number of jumps required is negligable.

PS: Does anyone know when the roster gets updated? I amended my form when I changed from Phantom to Anaconda but it's still shower my Phantom and old jump range in the stats

Hi! If you used your saved form link it will be automatic. If not, it's when the admin can get to it, which at the moment takes a little longer than it did as a result of the influx of applications as the launch draws every nearer

Thanks! Yes, used the saved form but will try again later, maybe I didn't save it properly.

I am hoping to sign up for DW2 today but I am not sure if I'll make the 13th. Will this be an issue or can I just catch up if I can't make the departure time?
