ED Astrometrics: Maps and Visualizations

The travel-history video maker is now able to detect which ships were used, and display that with the commander info.

I had a thought, and figured I should get some feedback here. I named the website "edastro.com" (short for "Elite Dangerous Astrometrics"), but is "edastro.com" too difficult to remember? I could always change it to something longer but easier, like "elite-astrometrics.com" or something similar. If I do that, I'll leave the old domain up as a redirect to the new one.

Nothing is certain yet, but I wanted to see what people's opinions are.

Maybe it's just me, but I think EDastro is easier to remember than Elite-Astrometrics. But it certainly is shorter.

I'd leave it as is ... edastro is fine.

Added a version of the visited systems heat map, with a sector-name overlay. The sector names are extracted from the proc-gen system names in each 1280 ly sector block, that follow the format of "something XX-X Msomething" where "XX-X" is whatever letters in that format, and "M" is the mass code.

BTW, I updated the sector-overlaid version of the discovered/visited systems heatmap to show more of the sector names around the bubble region. Some of the squares actually have very long lists, so I have it prioritizing the proc-gen names to the top of the list, and colorizing the square's border red if the list is truncated. That should be a little more useful.

The website has now processed over a thousand videos. Awesome.

In the meantime, I've added some more spreadsheet reports and some new map images, namely the Black Holes map, and the extreme-edges spreadsheet. Since I last posted here, the exploration page has had some minor revisions, and the exploration ship templates were updated to use the newer Coriolis changes, etc. I'm probably forgetting a few other things, since it's been a while since I reported any changes here. :)

Expected actual roses. Am disappointed.

Like this? :)
