Seems to be the tolerance or time out is a lot lower.
I am now just getting the following and the game just quits

Not even getting to the start screen...

About 10 minutes ago I did get in, chose buletin board and it took 2 seconds of waiting before I got this:

I'm sure it used to be a little more patient and timeouts took a lot longer than 2s.

Got into game, selected 'founders world' engaged SC, got message 'unable to connect to servers return to main page' got there tried to log in got loading game' then whilst writing this its come back with, 'Unable to retrieve Commander data from the server. Try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, please contact technical support via game launcher.' Will try again but looks like a glitch with the servers

pressed play on launcher page and it crashed immediately - crash reporter created and sent!

I think we to give it some time to settle down there has been a lot of work go in over the last 2 days be patient nothing goes to plan I am an engineer and I know if things can go wrong then will and especially on opening night chill out.

Lasted 10 minutes then server lost

On second mission run, server fail and dropped out. I'm sure i'll be fined on return for failure of mission.

With the Gamma release, Premier event and last minute tweaks, I assume the servers will be up/down a number of times today. I just keep moving along whenever they are up. No biggie.

I got back and then got booted now cant connect to server to get commander data, have restarted router and client, even the forum appears to be running really slowly now.

Going to try logging in again.

Nope, cant communicate with the server again.
