Same here. Game unable to connect to transaction server on exit from supercruise. Return to main menu. Then can't log in. Can't exit the game either - Black screen so have to kill the process.

Unrecoverable error on transaction server since Gamma 2.02 unable to ticket yet as cannot access the support site either now

Yep me too! I do wish they'd get their act together. If this is sheer volume pressure on servers then god help us next Tuesday and thereafter release!!

I very much doubt this is sheer pressure on servers. I'd guess this is the fact that a major new version has just come out which means major new bugs. Do you remember Gamma1? Couldn't get in for hours. If memory serves me right, there will be a few quick patches and then everything will be stable again.

Same here. Also after initial crash, upon choosing save and exit the games not exiting to desktop (having to quit from task manager again). Also, also on one occasion had the dreaded orbital line for a station appearing entirely in front of the planet thing again. Beginning to think someone at FD with an axe to grind is reintroducing old bugs at random!

One disconnect after another. Going to give the server a few hours, I'm sure they're looking into all this.
I really hope not, it's now 9pm UK time, long after they should all have gone home & be thinking about sleeping sooner rather than later. I mean it sucks for us, but FD's staff can't work 24 hours a day, especially when it's not a subscription game (and it's still Beta, sorry Gamma, Testing).

I'm not in missions, just generally flying about learning how to supercruise and stop near a destination (brand noob) but I get the data message each time I try to drop out of supercruise....then can't shut the game down. Just for FD info if they're reading this, I can't upload a ticket either.

Getting a little frustrated with the lack of communication from FD ... I *really don't mind* if you need to take the servers down, I don't even need advance warning.
.
But if you are going to do something with the servers that will prevent me from connecting then at least have the decency to tell me that I will have problems connecting for the next X hours/minutes.
.
Forcing me to go through a cycle of reconnecting and failing to connect basically says to me that you don't give a monkeys about your users ... I'm sure that's not the case, so please MANAGEMENT at FD please provide the people at the coal-face some way of communicating with the users ... for instance, rather than saying 'login failed' how about 'servers down for maintenance' ... ideally with a reason.
.
I totally do not blame the devs here, this is a failure of the management to implement procedures.
.
Sort it out, you're paid more than the devs for a reason.

Hello,

in my eyes the best solution would be:
The mission timers should stay real-time-timers (like they are now), so if players log-off, they get a fine.
But if the servers crash, then stop the mission timers as long as the user logs in again.

In my case I went to bed after server crash and then was not able to play for 5 days.
In that night I could easily deliver the cargo (I had enough time).
But after the servers are still down after 20 minutes I decided to go to bed.

Greetings

OLLI

I got stuck in the endless jump to another system...by the time i'm back ingame, my ship will be in another galaxy, far far away.......

I was annoyed for being dumped twice too just now, but its still gamma can't complain too loudly...just let them figure it out, better now before it launches...right?

I would say, it's another error that's crashing the servers. They probably have no idea as yet whats causing it. Either way, they should do a better job of informing us, I do agree.

A little communication with the players, goes along way.
