Server unstability was quite normal in Beta... but at 5 days from Release, it's becoming annoying.

Yup got kicked as I started a faction mission for the Empire, I guess that's blown unless they get this up and running in less than an hour.

I have to say that while I understand things like this will happen, it does remind me that this game is only alive and playable as long as they keep the servers running.

That was ages ago Servers have been back up since then and very unstable.

I have to agree it's getting a little boring now and the fact that even super cruise still flakes out sometimes and hasn't been properly addressed is getting worrying.

no that was the one for 2.02. I personally have been in game twice since them and then the game has dumped me out and been unable to connect.

Is what it says to me. Could be excessive server load due to new patches, or the new patch has broken something.

Thought that was already patched and in. I was already there one hour past that announcement and now servers are gone again.

To be honest I don't think they "took them down". Servers have been unstable all day, probably just crashed again and should restart soon.

Yep same here randomly hangs or just tells me it cannot connect to the server :0(

Yeah, there should really be something "latest news" of the launcher letting people know that there are problems, rather than have them hammering the servers. The worst thing will be if the glitches have a permanent effect on accounts (e.g. loss of credits, stuck missions, etc.).

The problem here is that there is no way for devs to provide feedback to players about what's happening ... all we get is a drop and 'login failure' ... this is not right.

Any product owner worth their salt will care about user experience and will ensure that there is a way for developers to provide that feedback to users, and also ensure that there is a procedure in place to ensure that the information is provided.]

Whoever is the product owner for this project needs a bit of a kick up the bum!

ditto - I was getting this with 2.0, it went away with 2.01... now it's back.

EDIT: Hmmm... now I can pick up missions... albeit a different station... colour me confused!
