I had just docked in Dahan and was about to turn in 70k+ combined worth of contracts. Whose tickers are still going right now, I'm sure.

The problem we have is every time the servers go down, within 5 minutes about 10 new threads are created asking the same question which are quickly followed by more threads.

The poll has been closed for a while now so it's not really relevant. we are just trying to keep the forum flowing and not over run by duplicate threads asking the same question.

My suggestion would be to for you to create a new thread without a poll for server issue talk. Make an obvious title. I think this thread with the poll may confuse people which may result in them simply creating a new thread anyway...

A much nicer solution would be a server status page.

That way, whenever new threads are created, you can "merge" those threads into the discussion taking place on the server status page.

Then maybe just merge those 10 new threads together, not into this 230 page behemoth.

Something like that happened last week as well, when two completely different topics were merged. One was about the lighting bug (station interiors and exteriors) and the other one was about the problems with the holo displays (cockpit issue). Two completely different issues. A case of quickdraw moderation without really checking the thread content. ;)
