Dear Mods,
I believe merging these threads was a mistake. The thread started by Matt was due to a specific instance of the servers just going down (19:15 BST, 06/10/2014) and doesn't relate to the poll at all in my opinion.

sorry guys, i think it was me.
I upgraded my jump drive and tried to fly somewhere exciting and new. The game decided i was having way too much fun and decided to shut down for everyone.
The problem we have is every time the servers go down, within 5 minutes about 10 new threads are created asking the same question which are quickly followed by more threads.
The poll has been closed for a while now so it's not really relevant. we are just trying to keep the forum flowing and not over run by duplicate threads asking the same question.

The original thread that the new one was merged into was about long term server funding problems, not a specific problem today.

Looks, like somebody merged two completely different threads (pay to win and Server down thread).
Maybe they run out of money?
