Apart from saying thank you, which in this instance never seems enough, from one Programmer to another….. very well done indeed. Frontier should support and reward you in my opinion.Starting today, we have migrated the EDRefCard to a new hosting location provided by @Epaphus (thank you for providing this!) and I'm now the maintainer of the domain and source code repo.
I wish to thank @VerticalBlank for the efforts in maintaing this code / site over the previous years - it's certainly made my Elite life much easier.
We welcome any requests for an old published binding to be reinstated from backup. Requests for new devices will be turned around as quickly as time allows (life can get in the way sometimes!).
There is a project in-flight to re-write this site so that it can be easier to maintain, run and hopefully allow a faster turnaround for new devices/fixes. A small visual re-work will happen at the same time.

Hi, I am a real newbie. Is there a way this can be done with VKB profiles?@Reaper_26. download the binds file from https://www.edrefcard.info/binds/hhjutf, look at bottom of the page. I suggest to right click on the link and click save as to save the bindings.
Backup the contents of C:\Users\PROFILE_NAME\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings
Replace PROFILE_NAME with your profile name
Drop the file into your C:\Users\PROFILE_NAME\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Option\Bindings
Open the VPC configuration tool. Find out the VID and PID for your controllers.
For my left controller VID = 3344 and PID = 8387. You need to concatenate both numbers to form the device ID for your left controller.
For my left controller the device id = 33448387
For my right controller VID = 3344 and PID = 412F. The device ID for my right controller is 3344412F
Open hhjutf.binds file and replace all occurances of 03EB2048 with 3344412F(my right controller device ID, you need to use yours). Replace all occurances of 03EB2046 with 33448387(my left controller, please use yours). Save your file.
Start Elite Dangerous. OPTIONS -> CONTROLS -> GENERAL CONTROLS. Select Custom from the PRESETS drop down. Click APPLY
OPTIONS -> CONTROLS -> SHIP CONTROLS. Select Custom from the PRESETS drop down. Click APPLY
OPTIONS -> CONTROLS -> SRV CONTROLS. Select Custom from the PRESETS drop down. Click APPLY
OPTIONS -> CONTROLS -> ON FOOT CONTROLS. Select Custom from PRESETS drop down. Click APPLY
Unfortunately it's not as simple as for other controllers.
Can you send over the device Id and your binds file please? Might be able to use the existing profile for a quick win on this.Request adding T.flight Hotas One for PC/Xbox almost the same as the existing T.flight Hotas X

Mouse support is not in the current version at all... It just ignores it.I've just printed out my latest bindings (sdqpwy), and I have a couple of issues...
1. The mouse binds don't show up at all. I'd like to know what buttons/wheels I've bound my mouse to, even if I don't see my exact mouse.
2. I use a 3DConnexion Spacemouse through Control My Joystick. I know that it's possible to detect when Control My Joystick is being used because there's a specific device ID it uses: (Binding Device="F00F0001"). Would it be possible to add a field in EDRefCard that can read a CMJ *.cmjson file and see if there are "[DxWare]" entries in it, and also allow users to specify just which spacemouse they have, so that EDRefCard can output it?
I'm still peeved that FDev haven't included native support for 3DConnexion spacemice... Kerbal Space Program has it, and as a programmer, I believe that it's not too hard to do...
3. I also have a Thrustmaster TPR (https://www.thrustmaster.com/products/tpr-thrustmaster-pendular-rudder/) for flight yaw.
The colours are grouped based on game function, nothing to do with the controller used.Could I request that the color coding for the modifiers for the buttons in the diamond on the right (A,B,X,Y) be the same as the colors of those buttons? Is this a standard thing? For my XBOX controller, the B button is red, for example. In the edrefcard it is green. Thank you for your time and work. This is an awesomely useful program.
Thanks for this.Current bindings file attached
Wrong place I'm afraid.I hope I've come to the right place. What can I do to get a device installed?
I still have the GNX-THQ from VKB connected to my Gladiator NXT (v2) and would like to use it.
Welcome to the galaxy, CMDR!Hello all ,
i am just new on this going back on elite after acouple oif year i have shelveed it.
I replaced my old Thrustmaster flight hotasx with Winwing Ursa Minor Hosas system ( left and right stick for control)
Is there any binding key configuration i can use for those?
i wonder if i could eventually use the VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left OTA, VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Right OTA binding file, are they compatible to be used with the winwing system ?
Thanks in Advance for the help
thanks, for both the welcome and the answerWelcome to the galaxy, CMDR!
It's usually not a good idea trying to use the same configuration for different input devices by different manufacturers. First of all, it won't work out of the box: all devices have different USB product and vendor IDs, that's how the game recognizes a device in the first place. Those IDs are saved in *.binds files in your options folder. You can change them to your Winwing IDs via a search & replace operation in your favourite text editor, of course.
That leads us to the next problem: on one joystick, the fire button may be button 1 ("Joy_1" in the binds file), but on another joystick, the main fire button may be button 3, or 5, or 10. That goes for all other buttons as well. In theory, I think it would be possible for a tool like EdRefCard to translate all the button numbers from one device to another, but well, somebody would have
to implement it first.![]()
