Hi everyone,

Day 2 of Elite: Dangerous being out there in the real world, and we already have a little update for you all. See the full change log below:

• Removed "Elite: Dangerous 1.0.0.0" version text
• Fix one cause of infrequent disconnections during hyperspace when server load is high
• Fix an infrequent system map crash related to data associated with specific systems
• Fix some debug strings being shown in slave-related mission descriptions
• Fix some ambiguous galaxy data in a small number of regions
• Fix two different very rare networking crashes
• Diagnostics to help track down one cause of disconnections following server island migration
• Diagnostics to help understand some graphics memory allocation failures
• Diagnostics to help track down systems with possibly inconsistent minor faction data
• Diagnostics to help understand if some bounties aren't being awarded

Hope everyone's enjoying the game - thank you so much for playing! The development team are still hard at work, and appreciate every tiny bit of feedback seen on the forums. Thanks again.

Cool. I am more of a person who suggest and test for quality. Maybe add ship's dashboard custom skin instead of Klingon red color? Q'Plah! :D

Congrat's to the dev team and everyone at Frontier. Looks like things are going pretty smoothly considering and really happy that the updates are continuing to filter in. Any chance of switching the HUD display of the primary and secondary weapons around (so primary is on the left and secondary on the right) in the next update before everyone gets too used to it being the "wrong" way round?

Hi Ed!

Thanks a lot for the game, the best ever in space!

Please, would you check this message regarding our efforts on testing the faction and civil war mechanics in Lugh?

It would be very appreciated for all of us if FDEV could confirm that it is not possible to rise the influence of one faction more than 50% in a system doing normal missions, etc., but doing combat related missions that could efectively fuel a civil war.

Or not ;-)

Thanks in advance for your time!

Guys, in all my many, many years of playing, I have never seen a launch go so smoothly. Normally, the best you can hope for is hours of queues, awful lag then disconnected but last night was great. Keep it up... But please, please, please give us co-op as the next priority development.

Thanks.

Too bad you can't use the routeplanner anymore for longer routes beyond fuel scope.

You sure can! Route planner works up to 100Ly and the stars beyond your current fuel level will be linked with a dashed line instead.

Additionally, after it plots the initial jumps in about 50Ly you might need to wait a minute or two until it gets to the further systems... by that time it's making a crapton jump calculations so it slows down a bit... :p
