Elite Dangerous | 10 Year Personalised Journey Emails

We have identified an issue where some Elite Dangerous mailing list subscribers did not receive the 10 Year Personalised Journey email and we'll be sending out another wave of emails today!

Please note that signing up now will not immediately send you a 10 Year Personalised Journey email due to GDPR rules and how the data was gathered from the pre-existing mailing list. We will investigate sending newer sign-ups this information in the new year.
So I had to be subscribed to the marketing list also? I had the other two and was wondering why I got no email I been playing since elite came to preview program on Xbox and switch to pc when console development ended. Hopefully I get an email
 
seems i havent been getting those emails for a long time already, i subscribed years ago for the galnet anaconda skin.
re subscribed, hope it helps.
but please put this info ingame and maybe hand out the galnet skin once more for the newcomers :p
 
I'm going to admit that it's rather laughable that it's left to a mailing list ? A minimal effort ? You have all our emails you could send it out to every single player say who played in the last month ? I'm sure that wouldn't upset anyone for one email ?
But a that will do effort ??
On the other hand congrats I don't agree with all your decisions but I'm still playing after all these years

I'm not a strong expert on this sort of thing, but I think usually after filling out the form and hitting the agree button, a test email should come back that everything is correct and working.
 
So... err repeatedly updated my account details, and I've not been receiving emails for years... which is a shame becuase I really did enjoy receiving them.
 
Not received here, and I’ve been on this forum and earlier versions since before the KS! 🥺

Thank you for looking into this, I really appreciate it.
Question: upon subscribing, are we supposed to get a confirmation email? Bc I tried to subscribe twice and got the "we'll be in touch" message on your website, but did not get a confirmation email, also nothing in the spam or promotion folders or anything (I use gmail). Just trying to make sure the problem isn't on my side!
 
Rather than leaving something like this to the vagaries of a mailing list, perhaps a webpage where we can log in and view or download a pdf of the stats would be more efficient and robust? The webpage doesn't even need to be fancy.
The stats are unique to each of us so that is going to be a lot of PDFs to handle, there were over 22,000 commanders in the Cocijo CG alone and while some will have been alts there were also lots not involved.
 
Well, at least EDSM do this every month and without having so many problems. If Inara did the same, then Frontier would deserve the shame meme xD
 
I have resent my 'keep in touch' consent several times over the last 3 days and still no email of any kind except those from this forum. I haven't even had any type of acknowledgement, so it is impossible for me to tell if I am now on a mailing list or not. Still in the dark, when I want to be in the black!

Went to the bottom of the page to try and re-sign, and there is no link at the bottom of the page, just the, "Keep in Touch", text, but nothing to click on or follow.
After a decade of playing, I'd dearly love to see the Personalised Journey email myself.

Thanks to everyone at Frontier for enabling so much enjoyment for me for the last ten years. It continues to be an absolute blast for me, in what remains my favourite ever game.

There is another user who had this same problem, who posted to the thread "10 Years of Elite Dangerous". They solved this by disabling some ad-blocker and weakening security settings in their browser.

I go to elitedangerous.com, scroll to the bottom and all I see is Keep In Touch. There's no link to sign up to the newsletter.

Never mind; it was the ad blocker.

But why isn't Canada on the list of countries??? :)
