Judging from the Beta .... that will come in what Sandy referred to as "Series 3" But some good stuff such as route plotting, which is very welcome.
It is mostly story update, there are quite few gameplay updates, but they are mostly either about combat or exploring. Any graphical improvements are aimed post 2.4 (along with core updates I assume).
I'm soo excited! Wheeeeee!
I'm not really all that interested TBH but hopefully this will bring in new blood and new money to FD coffers and hopefully that will be invested in some areas that are in desperate need of dev love!
hell who am I kidding I did the road to riches in July to get 600 mill in my account in preparation for some losses.
Hopefully I'll have spare time with Assetto Corsa Ferrari DLC on the 19th and Project Cars 2 releasing 22nd. So many good games, so little time.

I think I'd better get a bigger tea urn and more cups for all the little thargons... Oh and lots oc choccy digestives for the little ones.
Is this another unrealistic trailer, or are we gonna get decent voice comms from NPCs, you know, immersion type stuff? Oh, and better get grinding again, because we're gonna need those new weapons. Also, does this mean that Thargoids can only be destroyed by multiple wings, or can suicidal pilots take one on in solo?

Not a dumb question, considering how many games stagger releases across platforms nowadays.
In answer to your question, though: yes, all platforms on 26th. We will be working to maintain release parity across all platforms for our major updates and releases.
It was a touch of artistic genius to have the ship crew talking, and making facial gestures, all adding to the immersion of the story being told, so well done FD for this creation.
We know why you did this, and that it is not part of the regular game. However, I wonder if you should add a caveat in the small print at the end of the video to point out that lip-sync is not available in the main game (you said so in the live feed) because newcomers to ED will not see the video with this context and may falsely believe the game already has this feature.
