"Is there a way" - probably. It's software, there's always a way. However, it won't be easy, straightforward or fast. If you want to install the beta, I'd suggest you check first if there is anything else (wastebasket? Disk cleanup? Steam installations?) you can trash or at least temporarily remove/compress on your C: drive.

Otherwise, the next simple step would be to move the full frontier developments directory to another drive and create a symbolic link on the C: drive.

After that, if you want to move only the beta and not all variants, you'd best ask support and give them some time, this isn't exactly your everyday request.

Yeah, done all that, I thought it was probably worth a punt in case it had been asked before.
I think my only option left is to move all my Oculus VR stuff, which I was trying to avoid, but that's life, I shall have to bite the bullet, cheers anyway :)

Does the quick start option give you any engineering materials?

I am on steam and have set the propertise to beta but once i launch the game to install the open beta i get stuck on perparing for update. It has not moved from this state for about 25 minutes can anyone help me?

Ignorethis.... Sorry just "fiber optic" internet at its best lol lucky the intall isnt taking too long

With love, the console already is a getto experience - so few buttons, little tiny joysticks. PC/HOTAS Master Race!

Looking forward to crashing repeatedly! Err.. Beta Testing. I've been in the last 2 Open Betas and enjoyed them tremendously. Even got the decals to prove it!

SELLING FIGHTER PILOTS?
If you buy a low skilled fighter pilot and build their rank up can we sell them for a profit please?
I have taken on 2 low ranked pilots and seen them build up to being ELITE, I then sack them and start again with another fresh one but it would be great if this had some monetary value to it?
