Got another idea. If your going to port it to yet another OS, why not port it back to the original OS, BBC OS 1.2? Sure it might run a little slow, but it would be kind of nice

Yes, even starting a new thread on here wouldn't be too spammy. There'll have been people who took an interest in the thread that stopped looking after X pages and similar comments.

Being a bit more cunning, you could drop the idea of Linux support for ED on VR headset forums. They'll like the idea of mass adoption. (there's probably plenty better targets first though). One suggestion is theregister.co.uk's comment section as it's covered Elite a couple of times and has a ton of Linux users.

In nutshell idea is get 500 supporters in two weeks time. No idea how I gonna do that

Then I will try to push it for more visibility as GDC is coming and Valve is knowing to pushing SteamOS then. Could be nice chance to do that.
