Release Elite Dangerous Market Connector (EDMC)

EDMC suddenly not working.

I fired it up this afternoon, got the authentication procedure, allowed it, then got an error message telling me to check the logfile in AppData/Roaming. Looked for it and there was no EDMC folder there at all, nor in AppData/Local. Tried firing it up again: this time no authentication just the error message.

Uninstalled and re-installed: same result. Uninstalled using Revo - wiped everything - and re-installed. Same result.

Uninstalled and tried an earlier version: same result.

Now utterly flummoxed. If anyone can de-flummox I'd appreciate it.

The log files are not in AppData: https://github.com/EDCD/EDMarketConnector/wiki/Troubleshooting#debug-log-files
The external plugins are in AppData\Local\EDMarketConnector, so maybe one of your plugins doesn't work anymore / has problems?
What's the error message?

Sorry, should have mentioned, there's no EDMC folder in Local either.

Greetings and salutations, CMDRS. I have searched high and low and can't find an answer to my current problem. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
I just updated to the latest EDMC, and it is giving me an error saying that the EDDN plugin isn't working. I verified the installation, and even removed and reinstalled the plugin to no avail. maybe this is a temporary issue, but don't see anyone else reporting this issue.

I realize this is probably NOT and EDMC issue, and I also posted over on the EDDN thread, but just looking for any help / wonderning if anyone else is having this problem.

I also made sure I installed Python again just to be sure from the Microsoft store.

When I run the Setup.bat in the EDDN plugin folder, I get a popup showing some info, and says press enter to coninue. I hit enter to continue. Still doesn't work.

THE ERROR MESSAGE MENTIONS MISSING "load.rpy". I don't see a "load.rpy" in the plugin download, and nothing is created when i run the Setup.bat

I took some screenshots showing file locations and the error message.

debug log:

Can't figure out what's wrong. Again, just wondering if anyone else has this issue, or knows what's wrong.

Hey there! Unfortunately those files you attached appear to be private and I cannot view them.

Hi,
as per the instructions on the TCE thread I installed the previous release which worked then updated to the latest and got the message server down.

So that didn't fix the problem.8-((

S staying with 5.9 for now.

How do I configure EDMC to send data automatically to EDSM?

It used to do this automatically on my old PC but has stopped since I moved to another machine.

Any help gratefully accepted!

Hey there!

In the program settings, there should be an EDSM tab. Simply fill out the configuration details there including your EDSM API key and you'll be set to go.

Thank you! I used to do it for multiple CMDR accounts, but I'm not sure how. Perhaps I can get EDMC to recognise which one I start the game as, again.

Hmmm... I'll need to confirm how the plugin handles this. To the to-do list! If you do notice how it handles, please let me know!

It worked! Trouble-free, thanks to separate CMDR names box and an API for each one. It also detects which one I logged in with, if I start it after the game starts. Thanks for your help!
