Some of the comments in this thread are shocking and so disrespectful towards the devs and the people who have put so much hard work into making this game come to life. I really do feel ashamed to read them at times.

What happened to a simple thanks for the hard work and pleasure at the fact that our game is continuing to grow?

So to all the devs and people involved at FD - thank you for the update and I really am excited by what you are doing here.

Yes, they are doing a great work. But I'm also a customer. I bought the game thinking we will have 25 ships + 5 after release. But it's most likely we will have to wait 2016 to see the 30 ships and they will drop only 1 feature every 3 months... Maybe I was wrong, maybe SC will be release before we will be able to take-off our seat and walk on planets and capital ships.

Thank you all

+1

To anyone impatient with rate of progress this game is consistently showing I would say that the devs are working as hard and as fast as they can. Do we seriously want to emulate the attitudes of publishers such that have previously forced games out before they are ready? Frontier First Encounters anyone? Everything about this game to me shows that it is a labour of love and I would far rather wait longer for the remaining ships to be completed to the personal satisfaction of those tasked with the responsibility than to have them rushed out to please the impatient. I want to thank everyone at Frontier for making what is for me the most enjoyable and immersive gaming experience I have had in this 40 year old gamers lifetime (helped by my DK2 so thanks due to Oculus too). Shield cells aside I agree with pretty much everything that has been done and I would urge the staff not to get discouraged by the inevitable whining and complaining that you see in every MMO forum and to stay true to their course. I think my head might explode when planetary landings come!

New for Version 1.05, has me crashing to desktop whilst playing. About 5 or 6 times, I lost lost count.

I Sent dump reports from that crash report pop and some tickets to say what I was doing.

Would really be nice for them to list the patch size. This is more important for us players with slower connections. Takes me about an hour to download 1Gb. Would be even better if the ED launcher would show us this stat.

Fines

I would be happy to find a cargo container in space that contains something bland, like domestic goods and not get fined a thousand credits plus for stealing it.

Anybody having trouble downloading the update? i am getting an object error? I have no idea what happened here I was playing last night.

Edit - A hot fix has been applied for a server memory leak.

Thanks!

too bad bounty are still not fixed. this is becoming pathetic. cant even get the points for killing things.
what the point of playing a game if the monetary value for killing someone broken?

STOP FIXING THINGS THAT DO NOT MATTER FIX THE THINGS THAT KEEP THIS GAME BROKEN.

So many ignorant tantrums, so much outrage over nothing and so many examples of amateur dramatics in this thread, it's like a wormhole opened up between the Frontier forums and Tumblr! Keep it up guys!

I'm happy that we are getting these updates. We all have our own personal wish lists, but there are still those of us who know better than to proclaim our chosen order of operations to be the right one, with virtually no information or expertise to back us up. And, of course, those grim predictions of doom rear their heads again.

Good things come to those who wait, people.

Loads of us have waited decades, so they could add another year or so on to the schedule and it wouldn't make a dent in our optimism for this game. I want it to be done right, however long that takes.

Of course there are those grumpy old farts who join in the whining and spoil that picture a bit, but then again, they may not make it as far as planetary landings, and probably have the twitch reflexes of salmon (tinned), so it's hardly a surprise if they aren't enjoying getting their space coffins cremated by Commanders Neckbeard and Pimple so much, so they can be forgiven. The rest should be ashamed, however.

+1 rep. Couldn't agree more. I've started to visit these forums less and less as the whinging and ignorant behaviour is depressing.

Please continue to offer advice as not everyone can be rolled into your description and abandoning this forum serves no purpose. Appreciate all the info I have been getting on here and it has been very helpful so Thanks.
