when will Hull integrety issue be sorted or be rebalanced and a proper explanation to how it works please this has been ticketed time an time again an still not been read or replied too. Please sort this out as it needs adressing as a matter or urgency as this limits exploration and penialises those doing long SC journies to stations hundreds of thousands LS away.

Would you rather keep playing 1.03 for another month until the big changes are ready to roll out? I'm perfectly happy with a quick fix every week of a couple of bugs.

Yep, sure its only Jan 15th, they've only been back in work for just 8-9 working days. I appreciate the effort FD.

Oh well such is life in the gaming world. FD obviously has issues they deem important to resolve even though many of us don't have a clue what they are talking about. Thus when issues like fixing the landing pad lights/numbers blinking out which we as players do understand are not resolved then there are concerns. Here's a FD pick the right answer list:

1. We are aware of the landing pad issue.
2. We are aware of the landing pad issue but other issues are more important.
3. We are aware of the landing pad issue but don't know how to fix it yet.
4. We are aware of the landing pad issue and know how to fix it but other updates may break it again.
5. The landing pad issue is not a bug, but a feature!

Best to All

Seriously? Closing a ticket without resolving the issue is a BAD customer experience.

Why? The customer has been told everything they need to know. Updating 1000 identical tickets each time there is an update to a known bug is a lot of admin time that could be spent dealing with 1000 other tickets. For efficiency's sake multiple identical tickets need to be closed. That's the best use of FD's time and therefore best service to us.

6. We are aware of the landing pad issue and are working on it but the fix isn't ready yet. ;)

Be that as it may, I'd rather wait for 6 weeks to get some real issues fixed than to go offline every couple of 5 days, just to see some bugs have been fixed. Comeon, other developers don't do this they:

A: Release a stable game, and not an unstable one, just to rake in more cash (no pun intended)
B: If they release an unstable game, of which they've been made aware by the community, they will do their utmost to fix the indicated issues first, along with some other minor fixes, maybe
C: They certainly do not react with 'we make the game, and you just have to live with that' comments style, as we, the backers, paid for the development, no backers = no game, so, I expect the developers listen to the backers instead of the opposite
D: Brings me to the last point, why can't they be to do something about bugs which have been persistent since beta 1/2, or maybe even earlier. A lot of you people claim that this game is finished, nice, cool and all, but it is far from it. So far it is unfinished, slightly cool, and a very tedious game to play (don't say.... don't play it if you don't like it, it's too easy)

Issues raised by the community should be addressed with priority, not waived!

Since you already know the answer, why exactly do you need FD to tell you again?

Added server updates to the original post:

- Fixed some issues that stopped some Commanders logging into the Companion App
- Stopped wars and civil wars in starsystems with only 1 minor faction in that state
- Added ship discount to Founders World
- Various reliability and performance improvements

Michael

Any ETA about influence bugs yet? 'Soon' (tm) rather than 'may take a while'?

About the ships are discounted in founder planets.

So wealthy players can just buy the most expensive ship for discount and sell them in nearby station for profit to buy a eagle to fly back again and repeat it all over? That would suck

Thanks Michael & team, slow and steady wins the race.
Really hoping to have the "Wings" available this quarter so we can all team up properly.
I'm having a blast with what we have already, but also looking forward to more.

Seriously? Closing a ticket without resolving the issue is a BAD customer experience. Each ticket has a person behind it who spent the time typing up details to report it. Perhaps they're trying to clear up backlog, but to be honest the convenience of the support staff does not outweigh their customers. Unless they provided you with a resource to track its resolution or progress, its tantamount to fobbing you off.

No, this happens all the time. It doesn't mean it's not getting fixed, it saying that this is a known problem and the first instance of the ticket will still be live for investigation. There's no point keeping all of the other tickets open. Also Frontier do not have a KPI with you nor to provide you with a resource to track resolution or progress.

Each time a new update is made the devs are sent pizza . So more updates more pizza. Its also agile to make smaller update more frequently and better to manage change process

That's the same as going to the baker's shop, ordering a white loaf of bread. Baker gives you an empty bag with no bread in it. He expects you to pay 2 quid for the empty bag. When you say, there is no bread in it, the baker says to you: I am aware of the problem, I will fix it soon..... How does that analogy strike you?

Some server sdie fixes are a work in progress ( on the mikunn experiement thread) indicates that a few server side changes this week have been applied, and will probably be applied each business day as they drill down and make necessary changes

I agree.
It's downright depressing.

No doubt. But I for one, do appreciate everything FD is doing to improve the game. For me it's very stable and playable and I have the patience to wait for more fixes.
As far as I'm concerned, Once again, I'm a "Happy Boy!":D

So will this patch fix the resetting of kill numbers in a standard kill mission? Very annoying when you are on your last kill to complete the mission and then the NPC with the branching dialogue resets you back to zero kills.
Yes I want to see a fix for this asap.

Perhaps they're trying to clear up backlog, but to be honest the convenience of the support staff does not outweigh their customers. Unless they provided you with a resource to track its resolution or progress, its tantamount to fobbing you off.

What you need to understand is that user support / CS is a completely different department from development and programming. If a thousand people report the same bug, and you leave those tickets open, it looks like support is sitting on a thousand unworked tickets, even though they can not actually give support to those players. If I were in charge of support, the last thing I'd want is having someone elses problem sit on my desk when I do not have the tools and people to fix the problem myself to begin with.

So closing tickets with "This is a known bug that will be fixed in the future" is perfectly acceptable.
