I have a question about this, Sally. Stability issues here refer to frame drops, hitches, stuttering etc.? Or just about crashes in general.
I say stability a lot in this sentence to try and hammer that home, haha. In general the whole experience around POIs and surface settlements will be sorted but obviously I'll be here to look out for any further reports o7

Are the servers ready for millions of - OK thousands :D - players all in the same system with fleet carriers infesting all the surrounding ones? I'm ready for considerable timeouts and transaction issues - hope I'm wrong!

Thanks sally and the FDEV team , looking forward to the finale .
I may have missed it but could you all look into the fleet carrier navigation menu when plotting routes , if the system is full and cant be jumped to it will drop you back at the fleet carrier menu , instead of like horizons it stays by the system you want to jump to , A small annoyance but would be great to see it changed .
Still great list of fixed bugs there alot of those were important to me thanks again!
Id really appreciate this change too!

So I think you should read up on the Horizons 4.0 codebase merge announcement recently. Horizon players will be getting all the general Odyssey stuffs (including scorpion) only excluding the actual on foot gameplay. Will be happening soon after update 13.

EDIT - just re-read your post and noticed you mentioned console. So yeah it sucks, but development there is discontinued :( soz
I know that, but Frontier's 4.0 merge post and replies they made to Obsidian Ant recently, seemed to suggest the cut off would be the next patch, that as said, surely we'd all get one more proper patch...

As said, these seem to be easy fixes to give everyone and not actual "development" - they're not new ships and assets etc! :_ .

Edit - also it won't just be consoles they're abandoning, many PC players won't be able to run Odyssey or won't accept the performance drops it brings :D ...

Really nice batch of fixes...

but this deserves an extra aww 😇

Just shows how you can't please everyone. Personally one of my fave fixes in this patch. Safe dropping at a planet beacon was a gamey side step around a key component of planetary Buckyball race waypoints.

Thanks for confirming :) <3
You can't miss out if the Thargoids come to you :D

@tanner1ie Well i know they did say everyone will be able to witness the aftermath. not entirely sure what that means! at this stage im guessing we prob just have to wait and see later today.

Getting pulled away in the afternoon so I'll just say, however it turns out - Kudos for the whole buildup, thanks for the incredible work - and tolerating some of my whining x)

Look forward to seeing if my map needs updating when i get back!

It would be good if the npc crew in fleet carriers were more interactive. It bothers me that they just stand in the corridors, they sit and play with a tablet or sleep in the same places every time. I want the npc crew to walk and greeted me with a salute. During the pre-jump lockdown, they moved to empty seats in the main hall.

there should be at least one NPC offering work. even if it's shady work. lots of folk visit a carrier. maybe one wants a lift somewhere. at the moment all NPCs are just decorations... like a pot plant. just scenery.. they serve as much use as a dashboard wobble head.
