Enchance the xbox one version of elite dangerous

So i play it a lot and i can tell you from the differences from pc and xbox one versions. The System/Galaxy map opening needs way to long 8-10 seconds everytime and on the Pc 2 seconds...So you know what to do fd team... Make the game a bit faster for the xbox thx. New content 3.2 maybe good but please fix first all the old bugs... someone of these are older than 2 years so i cant understand why you dont fix it first...

I doubt FD can effect that. Hardware is the issue there. And while the Xbox gets more powerful each iteration, it still won’t have the power of a spec gaming rig. The trade off is we don’t have to upgrade a console every 6 weeks (yet)

Stop exaggerating. The only parts I've swapped over in my system since I built it in early 2015 is the case and CPU cooler.

Both changes were for cosmetic reasons. Four years of service my 960 is coming to, and that's a good run.

Honest suggestions

1. buy and Xbox one x
2. Use Xbox one x enhancements and choose 4K quality in game settings
3. Buy and use an external ssd hard drive

Which XBOX do you have - and if you also have the PC version what are you running there?

I only ask as I'd like to test this out myself to see if I'm seeing the same delay/difference between the two.

Two years ago the maps were really slow on XBOX but lately I haven't seen a big difference between XBOX and PC...

Edit: The XBOX One and PS4 are pretty powerful, and about in line with a midrange gaming PC at the time they came out.

I haven't played the PC version (or rather ed on PC). But the difference between the xbone and the xbonex is marked. Both in boot up times (loading menus) and visuals (4k). Although I think I'm getting to the stage where my reaction times and eyesight are making these improvements obsolete.

Just started playing ED on my ASUS ROG G752VY-DH78K Signature Edition Gaming Laptop displayed on a 34" ROG PG348Q monitor (Show on monitor 2 only) and with Steam ED I get full resolution on my monitor (fills the screen with no distortion--4k quality picture). Playing on an Xbox One X displayed on a BENQ 4K 32" monitor. Both are impressive visuals and with the same HOTAS One with TFRPs being used I think I'm seeing a fair comparison between the two. Right now I'm working the custom bindings on the PC to match the XBOX; PC has a much better capacity to be flexible using keyboard bindings. Xbox keyboard allows for text entry/searches in galmap, but not much else and no mouse at all. Only played a week on PC, managed to A-rate Sidewinder, Hauler and T-6 (kept all three and 1.3M in the bank) compared to 35 ships on Xbox and 5B in the bank. No engineers on PC, but did get the invite to Farseer compared to all the Engineers less the 3 new ones just introduced in 3.2.

Think I like the PC better, but will be a while getting ranked up and engineered--like building ships and tinkering with loadouts. Have to finish Combat rank 20% Deadly, already Elite Trader/Explorer on Xbox One; and with the new Alliance ships I'm hard pressed which one to play with. Just built a Crusader and like the view when the ship I'm taking out pops.

End state for PC is new HP liquid cooled gaming rig to run Rift VR. Retirement is really fun, best toys ever!
