Essential animals for your country, meta-wishlist

(Sweden)

3. Moose (I think the same species is called elk here though?)
Yes, basically moose is North American and elk is European. But it just relates to the words used rather than actual different species. It gets even more complicated when you consider the North American animal wapiti is usually called elk in American (and I guess Canadian?) English.

Hello I'm from Guatemala! Luckily the most essential animal from here (that is not a bird of course) is already in the game (the jaguar), so I really wouln't be mad if any of my picks isn't included in the game.

1. Ocelot
2. Galapagos Sea Lion
3. Nasua (a type of coati)
4. Armadillo
5. Black Howler Monkey

Chile: A DLC of the Andes would be good, but if we talk about endemic animals in my country, these animals would be good options, for example Darwin's frog is in an important conservation program, the pudu is in practically all zoos in the country, Like the cougars (they would be a great acquisition for the game since they inhabit practically all of America), the guanaco is also very common here along with the Chilean flamingo.
1. Cougar
2. Pudú
3. guanaco
4. Chilean flamingo
5. Darwin's frog
Pd: Other incredible animals can be Patagonian hares, Loa frogs, ñandues and Humboldt penguins.

The Netherlands

Not much to choose from but that's the disadvantage from living in a small densely populated country.
We do got some nice bird species.

My picks:
  1. Red Fox
  2. Red Deer
  3. European Badger
  4. Wild Boar
  5. Exhibit - Fire Salamander

My country, Uruguay, is poorly represente in the game so here we go:
-Collared peccary (Pecari tajacu): very common in south American zoos.
-Cougar (Puma concolor)
-Broad-snouted caiman (Caiman latirostris): our biggest reptile.
-Pampas deer (Ozotoceros bezoarticus).
-Devincenzii toad (Melanophryniscus devincenzii): most of population is here and threatened.
For more better representation would need more animals like Rhea and more but having some of this already would be great.

Sweden
Habitat Animals

My 4 chosen habitat animals (Not in order):

Moose
Moose Safari 2021 - Rovaniemi

Do you need an explanation? They exist in lots of Zoos and parks, they are huge and majestic, they are the kings of the forests!

Eurasian Lynx
Eurasian lynx: how our computer model highlighted the best site for restoring this wild cat to Scotland

Third largest predator in Sweden (and Europe) and can be found in the entire country, which is ironic since many will never see one in their lives. Once widespread throughout most of the continental Europe but was almost at the brink of extinction. Euroasian Lynx is Europe's largest cat animal. Shy and majestic it would be a perfect addition for the game and your park. There are lots of Eurasian Lynxes in zoos and parks due to conversation efforts . Today there are thousands, 2004 the estimate number of animals was below 300 mature individuals.

European Beaver
Beaver - Wikipedia

The largest native rodent to Eurasia and would be interesting watching them build their houses.

Red Deer (I'd like to see Roedeer and/or Fallow Deer aswell, but Red Deer is probably more popular)
Kronhjort - Viltarter - Jaktlivet

One of the largest deers with majestic huge antlers covering it's head. It can be found in large part of the world due to inplantation (mainly introduced for hunting). Exist in Zoos and Parks. I don't really mind abound subspecies but I would go with the Norwegian Red Deer if I had to chose due to where it lives and the cold climate (want more animals from the north)

Exhibit Animals

I don't really get why you say "No exhibit mammals"? Which I feel is kind of unfair for colder climate countries where we have many smaller mammals lurking around. So despite that rule I'm going to add Eurasian Red Squirrel who I feel is an iconic animal.

Eurasian Red Squirrel

This is my list. :)

Because way back before the game launched Frontier said that exhibits were going to be for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates only, and so far there hasn't been any indication that their position on this has changed or will change. The assumption is that mammals move around too much for the exhibit system, whereas all the ectotherms tend to be fairly stationary in real life zoos. Too many moving parts eats up the game's processing power. You couldn't do a squirrel justice with the exhibit system.

Canadian here! My picks are pretty much the same as what I’d want for a full NA pack: Cougar, moose, sea otter, and a pinniped. For the exhibit animal: giant pacific octopus.

Cougar and Moose for the same reasons everyone’s pointed out, that they’re essential for the game.

Sea otter and giant pacific octopus because they are icons of Canada’s west coast.

And for the pinniped, either the sea lion (any species,) northern elephant seal, or walrus.

And if it was an animal pack, I’d add the Arctic fox, Mute Swan, and ...maybe either the roosevelt elk or extra pinniped.

Thanks for the clarification.
I have missed this, but yea it would for sure move around a lot and require a lot.

Also realized I accidently put in 5 habitat animals so removed one from the list.
