Sort of was referring to the earlier series. They're nasty little things.![]()
The Thargoids won't care who you are, griefers or not.![]()
I'm going to shoot them in the face when i see them!Going to jump to another system when i see them.

These are not griefers. They are players engaging in PVP. They are fighting on their terms, not their targets, using every possible advantage they can think of. That is actually how you would want to fight most fights, now that I think about it, unless it's a duel at 20 paces. And a duel at 20 paces is most certainly not a good description of the Elite universe.
If you want Elite: Carebear mode, you can always try Solo, or maybe see if you can possibly get an invite to Mobius if you find the single-player version of Elite to be too boring. Not that I would expect Mobius to be much better than playing in Solo, but you do have options other than mischaracterizing regular PVP activities as "griefing".
I'm talking about players who gang up on folks outgunned or outskilled, and blow them to bits for no good reason, and do so all the time.
So here's: the idea. Have the Thargoids attack them relentlessly.
Those players are among the ones most likely to have combat skills enabling them to quickly deal with Aliens... why would Aliens attack those CMDRs first? If I was a Thargoid, I'd attack the impotent CMDRs first as well.![]()

LOL. All PVP isn't griefing, and not all griefing is PVP.
