Salvaging needs more content. SO far as I know its running around a planet and hoping randomness is in your favor to get 2 items.Finally, this has been needed for years now.
I hope its more comprehensive than Stuart's post suggests though. For example, salvaging has needed a credit boost DESPERATELY ever since it was implemented into the game.

I hope they nerf mining and make things like combat that isn't one thing on the mission board not pay garbage but this is Frontier so for all I know they are going to balance everything by turning off the server until OdyessyMy hope is that they won't just bring all earnings up to the same value as mining.
However if they don't do that and consequently mining earnings drop to raise averages in other areas to keep the same overall average there's not enough popcorn in the world to keep me going through the forum posts I'd expect to see.
