Certainly think a launch cancel option would be handy. The number of times I've started to launch and suddenly thought "argh! I forgot to do...". So regardless of new control mechanism, it'd be really useful.I play in VR+HOTAS and I can tell that at least twice already hit "Launch" instead of "Starport services". I swear I only hit down hat once, but cursor jumped to the "Launch" right away. Perhaps it was due to the fact that I was in the galaxy map just before that. I don't know.
FDevs: Please, at least make the launch sequence abortable.
For me it is just the opposite -- one down hat click and then the selection jumps back up to the top row. It could be a problem with reading HOTAS input? Annoying it is, but for me not as much as for you I am sure.I play in VR+HOTAS and I can tell that at least twice already hit "Launch" instead of "Starport services". This is a followup but the initial post is buried deep, so I will re-iterate:
Fleet Carrier UC payout for First Discoveries and First Mappings are totally borked!
I just turned in data from a three-day 500LY round trip from my carrier into the black and back, and at least 90% of the bodies I mapped along the way had not been mapped before according to the FSS, DSS and SysMap. I worked in 30+ systems, but the carrier UC paid First Mapped bonuses for only two of these -- the total payout was under 100k, should have been a milllion or more. Furthermore in two of those systems I also scored First Discovery on the vast majority of the planets and moons (though not the primary stars), but received zero First Discovery rewards. They were not even mentioned when I delivered the data to my carrier.
I checked the SysMaps of those two and I am named as First Discoverer, and First Mapper for bodies I mapped in the other systems, so at least that is working properly. But I am using my exploradata to cover my carrier upkeep costs, and if the game is screwing me over on the rewards for my efforts, well, that's just downright disappointing to say the least.
Heheh, never berated anyone, just disagreed and supported my opinions. Furthermore, this is not a problem inherent to the concept of Fleet Carriers or their upkeep, it is a bug, and can be dealt with accordingly. ED has had many annoying bugs over the years, often after significant updates, so it's nothing I have not been able to take in stride, despite momentary disappointment. Bug report is pending.Heheh, you've been berating others for their opinions on FC's for some time now. Welcome to it, late to the party, hope you are enjoying the soft-serve.

I'm enjoying the Fleet Carrier experience immensely, thank you very much, and it's very telling that you feel you have to make it seem as if this glitch something I deserve for having well-founded opinions, it just shows how weak your own are. Passive-aggressive ad hominem attempts at insult are just so easy to deflect, because they are most often offered by those with very weak serves.

I'm getting these messages for each passenger (8) at Robigo Mines with no associated Inbox Chat. Generally the message involves getting some food for the trip or taking care of a pesky pirate. There is nothing in the Inbox and nothing in the Transaction Tab to reflect any change in their circumstances so definitely a bug.In most cases the mission description in the transactions tab contains the info you need.
not sure what you mean by cargo transfer is so long. there is a "Transfer" option now at the top of your Inventory panel and it also allows you to "transfer full cargo".Oh, my game is crashing when i'm trying to access commodities market at my FC. It's fine when i'm accessing markets of other guys. I wouldnt even need it, if cargo transfer from ship to FC and back wouldn't be so retardly long. submitted every single crash report, i hope they would fix it...
Actually, if I understand what you're thinking, this is what you'd expect.Ok, here's (a new?) one... FC near orbital with only small/med landing pads (normal). Go there in Python pick up 180 tons of mission cargo, whos destination is a station with large pad... think to myself, cool, I'll grab that other 180T mission to the same destination too, shuttle the cargo to my FC, put it in the FC hold, grab the other 180T from the orbital, go back to the FC, change to my T9, and load up all the cargo, and head off to complete both missions... BUT NOOOOOO, you cannot transfer mission cargo from your ship to the FC hold. WHAT!? Why not?
a popup would at least stop the stupid menu wrong choice from completing. ' Are You Sure You Want to Launch?', ' Are You Sure You Want Fuel?'
fyi fdev, besides the continual not wanted launch, it does the fuel almost every time. I don't care about the fuel cost, I care that a stupid UI is making choices I DO NOT want!!
And I can't believe it exists in such a prominent spot and yet you can't make it work properly.
for me, this is the absolute most time wasting item in the game next to the constant movement of my ships to the launch pad when I tell it to go to outfitting.
Well here is something else for you to check out. When I sell my exploration data on the Fleet Carrier then leave the Fleet Carrier and look in system map my Commander Name is NOT ON MY DISCOVERIES. So why should I sell my datas on the Fleet Carrier anymore? I will hold off selling anymore data on the FC from now on.
Help needed here.
