Mining mining mining, whine whine whine.
You know what I want? I want to be able to play the game without a bunch of freezes and disconnects due to the fleet carrier plague infesting every interesting system.
Stability. Playability. The game running as well as it did before the fleet carrier update. That's all.
Zero forks given about mining nerfs, zero forks given about credits per hour, they're both utterly meaningless when you can't SC without disconnecting.
I don't even have to look at the map to know there are carriers in system, I can tell by the suddenly laggy UI and random bugs the moment I jump in.
Freezes entering/exiting SC? Carrier cancer.
System map takes an age to open? Carrier cancer.
Planetary surface slow to render, or POIs jumping around? Carrier cancer.
Unexplained framerate drops in FSS? Carrier cancer.
Constant disconnects in one system, after hours of flawless performance? Carrier cancer.
This is getting ridiculous, the issue tracker is chock full of duplicates, all referencing the fleet carrier plauge performance problems, yet still no ETA on a patch.
If FDev can't or won't sort out their technical problems, there needs to be a 10 carrier per system hard limit, now. I didn't buy horizons to put up with this crap every time I try to use an engineer or gather materials.
