Hello Jurassic Park enthusiasts, Jurassic World, and dinosaur fans in general, I write in hopes of soliciting Frontier's friends, to complete the gaming experience, with the addition of two DLCs: one on flying reptiles and the other on marine reptiles.

Obviously I realize that it is not easy, considering the reduced space of the maps, however being particularly fond of the Pteranodon Longiceps (male), I would be very sorry if they did not consider the idea of not introducing our "flying friends" and marine into the game .

Nobody has heard about it?
Friends of the forum, if you are also fans of flying reptiles and marine, please "make your voice heard" , choosing in two potential Dlc ( flying reptiles Dlc and marine reptiles Dlc) , at least 4 species, if you want also posted photos:

Flying reptiles Dlc

1) Pteranodon Longiceps (male)
2) Quetzalcoatlus
3) Tropeognathus
4) Cearadactylus Atrox

Marine reptiles Dlc

1) Mosasaurus
2) Elasmosaurus
3) Ichthyosaurus
4) Liopleurodon

As cool as this would be and your list of animals is very impressive, currently Frontier have no plans to add either pterosaurs or marine reptiles to JWE. They’re focused on land dinosaurs that keep in line with Jurassic World’s lore.

On a side note, I believe it would be best for this forum to have a Sticky Thread that refers to to this particular subject. There are too many similar threads popping up asking if pterosaurs and/or marine reptiles will be added and it’s creating too much unnecessary clutter.

I am agree, we need a thread of refers for Flying and marine reptiles ...

I cannot imagine how Flying and Marine reptiles could be implemented in the game.
Really, how that would supposed to work? assuming that you will be able to select a (as example) Ichthyosaurus from your hatchery, how do you relase it?

You will need a different kind of bulding for that, something that shold be placed near the water. Water of what kind? Another bulding shaped like a big pool? A puddle like the ones you can create with the game terrain tools? Something else?
What wil be the interactions that the creature will have with the environment and the public? How you will be able to see your creature if (since it's an aquatic creature) it's supposed to stay submerged for most of the time?

And most important question... anyone know if the game graphic engine is able to handle something underwater or it's limited in some ways?

Same questions for the flyng creature.

For aquatic animals just look to Zoo Tycoon 2... they did this stuff a long time ago. Tanks are built like fences that fill with water when completed... or you can just make a lake and stick your aquatic animals in it. Interactions with the environment would be swimming and getting food from feeders like normal dinosaurs... interactions with the public would be severely limited since they can't escape, but why does everything have to escape? Unless they could attack rides or underwater tunnels... which would also be how you see them. The biggest challenge would be adding a specialized hatchery for aquatic animals... one that can attach to both tanks and lakes...

As for flying reptiles, the only real difference between them and terrestrial animals is that you have to take their ability to fly into considerations, which means you need to build aviaries to keep them from escaping and attacking guests... otherwise, I can't see how they would be a challenge to include...

In any case, they keep saying they're not adding either flying or aquatic animals any time soon... so it doesn't really matter...

Hi there,

We have no current plans for Aviary or Aquatic creatures in Jurassic World Evolution. Our focus for new creatures is on land dinosaurs that are in line with the Jurassic World lore.

That would be boring as hell and very hard to fit into game.

Frontier had nothing to do with Zoo Tycoon or Zoo Tycoon 2; the one they were involved with was very different from either of those games. And this game's engine is different from all 3. You're comparing apples and oran...no, apples and rocks.
I can't see how they would be a challenge to include...

What everyone who doesn't know how to program says.
