It's not late at all, Frontier postponed it.
The answer has been given and yet you keep bothering them. How naughty
Postponing it definitely isn't good news.
If it's postponed 'as in a football league match' then it's rearrangement is months away.
If it's postponed 'as in a music concert' then that could be it, no rearrangement.
Either way, minimum info from FD causing maximum concern for their community!....is it really that much of a secret to let us in on a potential new date, even if it's this Christmas, TELL US!!!

I am wondering if they are going to postpone it till gamescom and actually show some of it in action on the new atmopsheric planets.

Thats is probably it, the new exploration will all be based on walking around on habitable planets with handheld equipment.

Well, we are at over a month now since anyone from Frontier posted in the Focused Feedback forums.
If they don't introduce space cats to caress alongside all this, the DLC will be pointless!

I asked (and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one waiting for it) 3 weeks ago for some news about the exploration / CODEX focused feedback on this topic...got no answers...
Since it's the official "Focused Feedback Forum Content Schedule" that YOU creaded to keep YOUR COMMUNITY uptaded about the schedule it would nice if you could let us know when it's planned (if you're still planning to do it ?) since we don't have a single clue when it will be.
Exploration / CODEX focused feedback was intially planned mid of july...I understand that you had some delay and that's fine but just a small reminder that sometimes giving updates won't harm you and is some kind of respect to your player base

I was just wondering this morning just how late the Exploration annoucement/info is, so thanks!
And, as always, what kills me is that they could avoid a lot of frustration from their player base by simply COMMUNICATING on their official topic.
Instead, they are answering on random topics and don't even bother to keep us updated...
So, since we don't have any news for weeks now I'll start speculating :
We won't have focused feedback forum for exploration / CODEX. They'll give us some information at Gamescon / PAX and will consider that they did their part and that making a focused feedback in september so close to Chapter 4 release don't make sense so we won't have it

Yeh... I'm keen for the Exploration Details to finally explain how "Hot Spots" are going to work, considering the Mining Details didn't even mention them...

I think we will be waiting till gamescom for the Exploration Focus Feedback which will be disapointing if true.
