I think we have three minor patch updates after every point release but I suspect now there won't be anything until after Xmas. People will have been working hard to get this out before the break, so I expect Frontier being a company that's good to their employees won't be pulling a Rock Star before the end of term...

So it's tea, foot massages and slaps on the back for another job well done/just got out of the door on time in a shabby state.

So, updated with the patch. Just had a three hour session. No repeat of the issues that were occuring quite frequently. Did have one server connection drop

But for patch #1 , it does seem a lot more stable

I had a couple of freezes and couldn't log on for a couple of tries for my second session (adjudication error) but it's been seamless aside from that.
I even turned the gamma back up.

Mahalo nui!

Speaking of frustration OP, am I the only one noticing that stars disappear from our view as we make our way along a route with multiple jumps? Deep space exploration is the one mode of gameplay that was left to me that still looked good (stars, nebula, and planets from orbit aren't affected by bad shadows), but now even that has been ruined because the stars disappear, eventually leaving almost a totally black sky... It baffles me that nobody else seems bothered by this.

"Take me out to the black,
Tell them I ain't comin back.
Pixelate the land and the shadows I see,
You can't take the sky from me."

Ooh, wait... :(

Can't say I have noticed that. There are other things that are still a bit glitchy though.

Sqdrn chat channel keeps disappearing
Not convinced Codex is working (and it's still quite confusing, rendering it almost pointless)
Getting an occasional freeze when jumping into Hyperspace
