Now I'll hold my breath until that same curiosity makes you read the books...
nearly finished book one here
I have to say its one of the few times i found the series better than the books, there isnt a lot of difference (the reason for Khal Drogo's injury is the only one that really stands out) but overall i think the series flows better.

. I bought books 1-4 after watching the first series, and soldiered through book 1. GRRM has lots of great ideas, and is very good at keeping things tense since anyone can die at any time, no matter how major a character; however, I really dislike his writing style, and he has no sense of scale. When overseeing a game adaptation, he complained that the wall was ridiculously huge, but the modelers had done it to his specifications. Also he talks an army being only 20 leagues away at some point, which is over 100 km!

TorrentFreak estimates that the episode 2 has been illegally downloaded 1.5 million times the day after its broadcast on HBO. The downloaders, come from everywhere, with the Australians in the first place, followed by the Americans, British, Canadians and Dutch.

I fought off months, years of friends waffling on about this Game Of Thrones show. Saw it on amazon prime last week and spent 4 nights watching all three series like a mad person. The Rains of Castamere show totally destroyed my mind.
As for the season 4, I'm gutted I'll have to wait for it to hit amazon prime. That link, I can totally empathise with. Damn show turned me in to a mad person.

Agree, he is so my favorite character on the show, absolutely love his dry humor!
and his performance last night which began with quiet resignation then turning into a bitter but stirring truthful condemnation of the court, simply outstanding!.....think hes off a few Xmas card lists now though!
