Hmm.. found out that you already can look up details of active missions, cancel them and get rid of unwanted cargo even. Left GUI. I didn't notice. Missing or canceling contracts does affect your reputation, so be careful. :D

I was wondering, does everybody start in the same system, or is this purely at random? I have traveled quite a bit now and I really have no clue where I am. Well, about 80 light years from Sol. I don't think I saw online players in the last hours.

@developers of the Nice-but-not-needed department:
- Could it be possible to integrate the system- and galaxy views also in the star port services menu? Now you have to exit and access the ship computer.
- It would also be nice to be able to scroll in the system view, now you have to click on objects and sometimes this doesn't work if there is text over it.
- A Elite2Frontier-like 3D visual of a system with orbits would also be great.
- And it would also be nice if the orbit lines in the hud were a bit transparent. In busy systems there can be cluttering and obscuring of labels and objects.

Kudos for the updates, Elite Dangerous runs very smoothly on the CPU integrated graphic chip (Intel HD4600). I am curious what I'll see when my GPU is finally delivered. Waiting for weeks now.

- Fix for crash seen during processing of the render queue

Just a quick verify that this issue indeed has been resolved for me (2x GTX 780 Zotac AMP! SLI setup). I had this issue quite frequently since Gamma 1.0x and as of 1.05 it's been resolved.

Thanks a bunch!

Marcus

Appears selling an upgraded starter SW from dock is fixed too? Or was that fixed in 1.04?
Thanks for that whatever!

- not clear what heading a landing pad accepts. 50% of the time I am pointing the wrong way and have to wait a tedious minute as the spaceship slowly rotates around its Z axis.

Nevertheless E:D is a great game. :D

On platforms the number always appears on the side your nose should be pointing, don't assume that if you can read the number your the right way round as it will reverse itself so numbers aren't confused, the only time you cant see the number is when you approach from a 90 degree tangent, move your approach angle left or right till you can identify which side of the box the numbers is attached to.

Finally found cargo racks >2 for my Hauler and saw an upgrade for my power plant, but couldn't afford it.
Stutter seems less near planets, but haven't tested extensively. I'm close to Sol and will try near Earth again where it was pretty bad. Anyone else notice an improvement with stutters?

You have always to face the control tower. In order to avoid a slow Z-Axis turn, instead point your ship's nose down, fast-rotate via X/Y. When combined with use of thrusters it's pretty fast and provides a solid 3D feel! :)

Yes that's how I get around it, but seriously, a spacefaring civilization of billions with affordable FTL travel invents a docking pad that only accepts ships pointing a certain way? Especially when there's a turntable under the pad already that reorients you to be facing the opposite direction when you launch, whether you want it to or not...

The same space faring civilization also invented a galaxy map that doesn't allow you to set way points for when you're flying or allow you to even plot a course with more than 5 long jumps. Yeah, very year 3300 :)

Cheers - keep em coming.
No news tho on #53324 i raised where game reverts to Desktop. Happening more frequently of late. Spoiling the experience.
Kudos team

Same thing happens to me too. I thought it was something that I was running in my Windows background (like anti-virus checker)

You can already access the ship computer whilst in the star port services menu. When checking out a mission on the bulletin board I just press '1' to access the left hand ship console and then can go into the galaxy view so I have an idea of where I need to go.

The mouse pointer and menu hotspots now follow TrackIR perspective. No more recentering TrackIR and hunting the magic screen point because the menu item graphics don't line up with the hotspots!

Thanks devs, you're awesome!!

Still no paint jobs showing up. I have died and they do not show up. I have tried many stations and still not there. I have sent a ticket but still not fixed. Do I wait for release?

Mars is still pretty awful, especially entering stations there.

Tweaks and general fixes
- Fix for sudden Starport rotation jumps

If this refers to the pre-takeoff 2pi spin on the lift during undocking which appears to result from ship having docked on pad in a pre-takeoff orientation then......It's not entirely fixed :(

Just had the pre-launch twirl in Perrin Settlement - System: NLTT46709
