General wants in Odyssey, basic FPS STUFF without the FLUFF.

The current character creator (HoloMe) is good for the face and head, even though it lacks a few things hair and face-wise (more facial hair choices, bi-coloured that can also be used for ageing).

What I want, and is a good place to start, is a more detailed character creator that includes height, and basic body shapes (from super skinny, to large, to body-builder large). I mean I really would like a character creator that includes advanced sizing in chest, arms, legs, and midsection (as many MMO's do). Additionally, different Remlok's and clothing options would be nice (slightly armoured Remlocks, jeans, cargo pants, leather jackets).

Aside from the character creator... Ship and basic station interiors would be great (and useful to interacting with people). As for weapons... yeah Primary and Secondary with available ammo, but also have a Melee of some-sort (could even be swords for us Imperials, and I guess for the Pirates ;) ). Bullet drop could work.... but I see less damage/effective range being easier to implement. 1st person view is going to be key (but still have a photo mode so we can create amazing shots for stories and RP).

I think we're all going to have a big list for this.
 
5. Direct Voice Comms in 200m radius, or whatever range. chance to negotiate with opponents if they are Player Characters
You know that any negotiation is done by and with the new and shiny plasma ball shooting kadjiggerthingie.
No need for comms, just headshots.

You may not want a 3rd person view but I want the vanity camera for some great screenshots of me stood in front on my ship to show just how big it is, or stood on a hilltop watching the sun rise.
1st and 3rd as a choice I hope.
 
i think odyssey critically needs to integrate the new surface experience with our current cockpit lives, including the vastness and diversity of the galaxy, so it doesn't end up being two games just glued together with some common theme. there needs to be a sense of story and thriving interaction between two game worlds meaningfully impacting each other. enabling this will likely require some assets or functionality added (or retrofitted) to horizons, so i propose the folloiwing new feature for horizons in sync with odyssey launch:

nuke planets from orbit.
in classy, old fashioned vr.
i even would grind for one of those damned space castles if need be.

no, i'm kidding.
