Give Yamiks an Alpha key!

such grave accusation without being specific about it, without general knowledge or some relevant proof really, really comes across as a personal attack.

I don't know how many keys Frontier are giving out, I'm merely pointing out that just because keys are digital it doesn't mean they should be limitless. That wouldn't make sense from a company perspective.
Also I don't know why he didn't receive one, it could be because he was too low on the list and so didn't make the cut for the amount they have decided they're giving away. But let's not forget that the only people who know the reason are Frontier and Yamiks. Though you could well believe it just because it's in one of his videos, he's certainly never made things up in the past has he.
Do you have a squeaky sound effect though?

If he cant be bothered to engage in the correct manner I dont see why Frontier should give him the time of day. If his followers want to buy him a copy thats up to them. If he thinks swearing and calling devs lazy is criticism and not just being a whiny immature prat then thats up to him. He was funny for the first few views, now hes just plain boring to watch or listen to, not that I have for over a year now.

In fairness, what @Ozric posted about Yamik's behaviour puts things in a better light - so not only does he deliver his content in a style that doesn't gel very well with Frontier's corporate culture, it's questionable whether his audience will convert into all that many sales given the pitch of his videos is usually negative, but now there's also a personal element to it.
Tell you what, if my client would personally behave like a [redacted] towards me I'd simply refuse to work with them in the future, even if they paid well - you obviously have to be in a position that allows you to be choosy like that, but Frontier clearly is.
Content creators are a dime a dozen, and a single channel with 100k subscribers (which isn't really that much in the greater scheme of things, and who knows how many of them actually watch him regularly - I'm subscribed to D2EA but haven't watched him in months for example) is not going to affect sales to the extent that Frontier have to be worried - what will likely happen anyways is that Yamiks will buy his copy out of his own pocket, and still create Elite content. It's really no big deal.

and here we are on page 6 about a youtuber that is not an official chore youtuber. where are the fat threads about the other .... ahem, chore youtubers?I personally don't like Yamiks videos (like many others so called "content creators" to be honest) but I find this thread a bit silly, first he could afford it and not begging one, second Fdev will give those keys only to the usual ED Youtubers for obvious reasons, I mean even my cat knew that from the start
i'd say, well played, yamiks, and frontier being frontier. business as usual!

Yet I still feel he does like the game. A lot of people are just like that on this forum, he’s not unusual in that sense and probably has a large following because many can relate to it.
Is this a new Rank to chase? Where? At Ngalinn perhaps?

Yeah but nobody can go to Vienna without recalling his great vocal. He has that at least. Bet he’d swap all that for a free Alpha key though.
Ehm... have you seen Yamiks' video when he actually DEFENDED FDevs for not including VR for the FPS portion of Odyssey?
Or his videos about the Python and the Imperial Cutter?
