Its not about me being offended. I don't like his sense of humor - it's just obnoxious, childish and boring, but I was telling you why Frontier - a company - might not want to support a person creating such content. And I was proven right few minutes after my last post, which was fun.Ever noticed how most elections are very even? The thin line between being rude or not is not well defined and it changes over time. The line is where there is something close to a 50/50 consensus and the line is fuzzy. Depending on who you are, you have different limits. That someone gets offended does not, strictly speaking, make them right, but this is probably not about Fdev being offended over the profanity, as much as it seems like somebody having a sore toe, when it comes to the management and strategy of the company. I think we should all get along and be nice, but that includes being able to take critique and accept a few hiccups from everybody else.
Go watch Yamiks Hyper Critical Review of ED. I bet you haven't done that yet. Maybe skip the opening scene where he beats a dead horse in an attempt to be inventive
I wouldn't live in that fear myself. I tell them exactly what I think of them, they would have no qualms in telling me about myself.
This 1/5 of the player base is spurious at best.that's bad enough as it is. if the guy is 1/5 of the scene there simply wasn't a good way of not supporting him, he is too popular to ignore, that's how the influence game works.
They might be limited to the people who sent out the email.

i wasn't suggesting anything of the sorts. the 1/5 figure had been floated around before in this thread, and i reused it merely to express that yamiks is a significant member of "the community of elite tubers" (to the extent we can accept that such a construct actually exists, but if it did he no doubt would be in).
Just an advice that you can disregard as you please, but cringe is related to pride, which mostly makes zero sense, once you start poking it with a stick. The World becomes a much more pleasant place when you learn how to accept the other monkeys for what they are, even though it's a hard one to swallow at first.
