Graphics are getting worse

It would behove people to remember that the xbox one is somewhat more capable than many of the PCs running E : D...

Not my PC it aint, no console can compete. I have a PS4 and i aint turned it on since xmas 2014.
As for PC graphics can we have them maxxed out and not limited as is being shown in this thread please. Why the dumbing down for the console crowd?
Come on Devs give the PC what it wants and while your there give us some custom AA flags for Nvidia Inspector so we can apply some SGSSAA.

Well done, you're the second person who responded "MY PC IS REELY GOOD" without bothering to read the rest of my post.

*shrug* Think I'm done with this thread ;-)

Asteroid fields are exactly the same from 1.2 - 1.3 the fields that have dust blocks or masks the crappy distant texture less roids, and the one's with out dust look normal. The problem is that there has been a reduction in the fog numbers in the .xml file. Not at home PC so cant display the .xml. It also appears that the % chance to render fog has been changed as well. So what you are seeing is the naked exposed roids that should be blanketed out by the dust/fog

It's like a kind of mass hysteria.

Don't be ridiculous - no one on this forum would ever over react or be melodramatic. Sheesh! What is wrong with you. :D

Not totally without foundation though.. Several games have been "limited" so they won't look better than consoles, just check out the new batman game for one. PC version limited to 30fps like consoles.

Wasn't that a port to pc from console (that didn't even work properly though)?

As in they were effectively over exposed in the first place?

Really hard to say, I think it was a way for the graphics team to hide the distant un-rendered roids, but since 1.3 something happened to the fog #'s thus exposing the model detail draw limits.

Just posting this for reference.

One thing that has gotten better is the transistion when you close to the ring in supercruise.
