Yeah, because like me you do research. No one browsing Stream for a space shooter is ever going to see that chip.I did I read up on it here in the forum in late 2014.
Bonus info from David Braben himself in 2012 "What would I want from a game ?, I want to be able to play a great game without being griefed by teenagers. But having said that I do want a feeling of risk out there"
Seven minutes in for the quote.

I don't think it's a space trucking sim, but that's what you're implying people should know it is. And the carting of groceries isn't the issue we're talking about... we're talking about winning wars by carting groceries with no opposition because this game's layers allow for that.As to your view of the game as a "space trucking sim" that's your choice to view it as such. Not everyone is carting groceries in the ED gameworld
Careful now. You can call me an idiot if you want, but if you can't understand my point, which is that the vote of the PG or Solo player trumps the vote of the Open player for how conflicts will play out, then that might need to be a self-directed insult. But that is exactly what happens in a vote... No-one meets anyone to tear their ballot paper forcefully from their grasp whilst shooting them in the groin with a zip-gun... Well, not in my country anyway...
Why the idiocy?
