You can check the launcher version number in the lower left of the launcher. If you have 0.4.4347.0 you are good. If not you probably need to update.

Stopping the dancing stars near star systems is going to go a long way to getting me back exploring and I am already Triple Elite! Those moving motes made me very nervous all alone out in the core systems and being chased by them.

Well done sorting this and the massive list of other issues above.

Now a note for Mr David Braben OBE. Please let your staff have some work/life balance once Horizons and 1.5 are out the door. I know they have been running on fumes these last few weeks!

So far updating the beta client works quite well: its at 30% after one minute.

Is there a fix for the very low FPS when exiting glide? (as low as 5 - 8 fps at times)

Are you sure about this? My launcher version is 0.4.4029.0, and after seeing your post downloaded the new launcher from the OP. I got a download marked as Dx11, installed correctly, but I'm still on the same version number.

I played the Horizons Beta with this launcher. Am I doing something wrong or are there different launchers?

Yeah I tried downloading a new version of the launcher after reading this post and now my launcher is broken

And I can't install a new launcher without it crashing on install and aborting.

Well I clicked on 'here' in the Changelog, to get the new launcher, as per usual I saved it in my downloads folder (windows 7). Located it, executed it, installed it.

The Launcher version is 4.4084.0; -not 4.4.4340

Yes, fairly sure, because it's based on official information and all users need to be on the same page (i.e. same launcher version).
