Yeah me too; -I have a suspicion if you click on that link for the DX11exe. it is the same Beta 1 link from the first Beta; The Change log just recompiled all changes after Brett C's statement.

Folks, Don't do as we did.

I Installed that fine, just nothing changed. Still on the same version number.

What part of "The servers are currently down and we are expecting them to be up between 4pm - 6pm GMT. However, we will keep you updated on this thread." am I not understanding when people are saying they are "downloading" something?

Are the update servers live that far ahead of schedule? (currently 2:46 p.m. GMT)

I think in my case it just updated my 2.0 beta to 1.4 live when I renamed folders.

I installed the launcher from the OP link too, and it installed OK but was still the old version. Then I went to the store and under 'My downloadable products' it only shows the original alpha demo (alpha backer), but when I downloaded it, it was the new version of the launcher. Very confusing!

Opening the launcher now prompted me to download a new launcher, so this seems the way to go... Seems to be available now.


[EDIT]: Well, downloaded in 5 seconds and installed in other 5. I'm now in the correct launcher version :)

Here too, but I had to enter a verification code as well (sent separately by e-mail). The new launcher shows the same server upgrading information, though.

By the way - since we're all waiting - what is Elite Dangerous (32 bit) actually for? If I click it, the PLAY button changes to INSTALL. Not that I ever will revert to Dangerous after Horizons, but should it be installed anyway? Wasn't ED already 64-bit?

I really wish I'd known about the mission wipe in advance. I had completed missions i hadn't turned in yet. :|

Downloaded the launcher from your link... receive a message the launcher was outdated and I have to download another launcher. Are you sure you provided the correct link?
