How many ships do you own?

All of them, plus a second Anaconda just for hauling cargo.

I think you can efficiently execute every major function in this game with a conda variant. Does anyone do that? Anyone?
PvEConda
PvPConda (maybe a stretch here)
ExploreConda
JumpConda (module engineering)
TaxiConda
TradeConda (cargo conda)
MiningConda

7 ship fleet all condas. Its possible I guess if you never need M or S pads.

I've flogged a bunch of ships recently.
I always said I'd never sell any ship I've actually used in-game but, after a couple of months away, I came back and just thought they were a waste of space.

So, I've cut right back now... to about 30 or so ships. [where is it]

Adder
Cobra III
Diamondback Scout
Diamondback Explorer
Vulture
Asp Explorer
Fer de Lance
Python
Federal Corvette

So... 9. I sold lots of good ships which I had no use for. Most of them because I already own a Python, making them completely pointless

Wow. I would feel a bit inadequate, but o7 nice work CMDRs and well done.
I have 6.
1 ASP that is for exploration so can jump 50 LR
1 Anaconda for missions
2 Python for missions
1 Fer-De-Lance - bought this recently as I have seen a lot of them around.
1 Orca - Passenger missions but the toilets are out of use at the moment.

I need a ship to do mining with so may buy an Type 10 Defender and engineer it up for that role and to do the weekly missions.
I did have an Alliance Chieftain but last night sold it.

To be honest, just one, I want to be free and I give all my love to one ship! At the moment it's the Krait on PC and Imperial Courier on PS4, I'll engineer it just for speed and won't sell it again!

I'm also happy with the Krait... but who knows whats to come!

Buying a Cobra and other ships from time to time, but I don't want to store them all, don't ask me why, maybe it has something to do with realism and Immersion!

In actual regular use, two. Though to be absolutely honest, right now it is just one, and will be for another few months, in all probability!

I do genuinely like them all though, and they have special roles and memories for me. I care a lot about my "fleet" :)

Me too (two times two)
No point in showing off, is there?

Question two.
How many of your fleet do you actually use, regularly?

I have 12 ships with unique roles, but which ships have I used at least once in the past month?
Vette
Cutter
*Conda
T10
Python
*Krait
*FDL
*DBX
T6
Sidey

*Used the most frequently by far, but the frequently used ships might change from month to month.

Let's see, I have:

1) My Original Sidewinder - I just couldn't bring myself to sell it.
2) My gifted (original backer) Imperial Eagle - only very mildly Engineered, still used from time to time.
3) My Free Cobra MkIII - never really used as it felt like a bit of an exploit to have such a good ship early-game. By the time I'd earned the right to use it (in my eyes) I had the urge to try something else. Never Engineered.
4) Asp Explorer - I so loved this ship, never been Engineered as I stopped using it before Engineers were available.
5) Type 7 - the ship that was the turning point for money making, never really Engineered it much.
6) Python - bought to replace the Type 7 in all roles, but I didn't bond with it right away, so returned to the T7
7) Anaconda - took me an age to get this ship, love it, still in regular use for multiple roles. Made big money with this ship. Was engineered, but I stripped it out for jump range.
8) Imperial Cutter - glorified trading barge...but I don't trade much now. Last saw use in a CG months ago. Lightly engineered.
9) Corvette - Combat configured, quite heavily Engineered. Totally sucked before Engineering
10) Fer De Lance - almost forgot this one! Bought it for BH with our Wing, great fun, but replaced by the Corvette before I did much Engineering.

So, just 10 ships currently, but I've also owned:

1) Viper MkIII
2) Viper MKIV
3) Vulture
4) Type 6

All before Engineering.

Scoob.

Related questions: What is the overall limit? Is there a limit per station?

Thanks

I have about 40 ships and 65 sidewinders as bookmarks.

I heard the overall limit, in a stressed out post from a commander who could not login anymore because he had acquired more than circa 250 ships, which is the limit.

My fleets pride is,

4 Anacondas, (war, exploration, module transport, multirole)
3 Cutters (war, trade, multi Purpose)
2 Corvettes (war, mining)

Fun.

21 including the currently-in-service K2. Three of them are the Federales collection, which I only really picked up because there was a sale; they all still have the dealer plastic on the seats. I also have the Diamondbacks and a Chieftain on the "to do" list, but everything else in the fleet has seen active service, including my original Sidewinder. Nothing has been sold after purchase except a fighter swap.

At last count around 150 or so. Majority of which are sidewinder bookmarks which I still use this method today, ( easier to catalog using two colors - red and light blue).

I have around 20 ships. Each build with some purpose in mind and most modules with maxed out g5 modifications. Some get more use than others. Some have become obsolete from other ships in my fleet and wait for rework or decommission. I'm using Jameson Memorial as workshop for my ships under construction or waiting for a purpose. Fitting place for a retirement home.

Exploration account has one AspX. My primary account is now up to 20 (x2 Sideys and x3 Cobras, the rest are different) I’m trying to build mini fleets in different areas so I have at least a miner, a combat ship, a trader, a planet visitor, a bubble jumper, something passenger based and one simple scanning ship for data mined wake exceptions etc at each location.

I like being able to jump into different ships but also like not having to drag a ship from one side of the bubble to another whilst finding something else to do whilst it makes it way over.
