FWIW, I just realised that Reprojection had mysteriously turned itself off in SteamVR. Much improved now it's back on, even in 2.2.

Oh, if this is really working, it will be great ... now here I am, stuck at work ... that same work that allowed me to buy VR ... its a love/hate relationship
Neither, it just does the same thing as steam does. You can actually combine them. I use the rift and it's called pixel density but again it's the same thing. I tried 4.0x by combining the two. Was laggy as heck but it was GORGEOUS. The stars were TINY, like real stars
I've had a quick mess about with the new options but really cant see what hope this offers tbh, its more of the same and less of the fix imo.
Happy to be proved wrong though.
