Is Frontier Stalling Thargoid Content till E3 or PS4 Release?

I would hope Thargoids are not completely exclusive to 2.4. How could they do that when the galaxy is shared between people with and without Horizons? Also, alien activity has occurred already in the core experience.

I can maybe see some of the Thargoids content being blocked off. Like thargoid activity in those permit locked systems, and you need the dlc to access them.

Actually, that'd be freeking amazing, to hell with AI, just hand Thargoid ships to SDC members and let them go nuts!

It'd be an actual genuine threat and unpredictable too.

Let's face it, even with the best AI, cmdrs will figure out it's limitations pretty quickly, have Harry at the controls and you wouldn't feel safe anywhere.

So is there any new gameplay or just more selfie excuses? Gonna take more than pretty pictures to re ignite the passion Im afraid...if it adds more than eye candy then great, what is it? What does it add?

The story got too stretched out...the tension got buried under a mountain of salt and waiting in silence. Whatever is gonna happen that gets the juices going, its gonna have to be a helluva lot more than selfies ^

It stopped working some time ago...its gonna take a helluva lot more than scripted and pre canned cutscenes to make any impact now. Thats what happens when ye throw a 12 month silent tantrum...patience have limits and those limits were reached months ago. This is too little too late but whatever...each to their own I suppose ^

Elite will always be devoid of content and a screenshot simulator at best, a mile wide but and inch deep like a puddle.

It's the same thing all over again. I said 6 months ago after the first appearance of the flying pancake that the next thing to happen was going to be another 15 sec cutscene.

I don't understand all the fuzz.

There's absolutely zero content once again.

How much you want to bet $$$ the next thing to happen is another 15 sec cutscene with no substantial gameplay?

The odds are not in ones favor, the ground is too rough fer the horses and one would make a safer bet on a flat earth theory.

On the plus side, I actually repped a member of sdc...we do indeed live through strange times where I agree 100% with ye ^

It's the new gaming generation, pay 69$ for a cutscene to take a screenshot and talk about it on the forums.

Now you have banana skins for that same price and they call it "gameplay".

It's a miracle they didn't have a call of doodoo style interaction key during the cutscene to do an action.
