Maybe I'm easily pleased,
but I still get a slight sense of awe when I am in some system a gazillion lightyears from anywhere, that noone has ever been in before, fly to a planet, pick a point entirely at random, land on it, can drive on it, know that if I see a hill off to my side somewhere I can drive or walk to the top of it, and appreciate that every single dot in the sky plots where it should from the galactic map, and could be visited. I accept tiling of some kind somewhere is likely to be needed, to be able to render all those planets, but honestly, have no issue with it, and have never actually noticed it. So a vote from me in thanks for putting resources elsewhere
