Let's play: Design a mini-pack for a country

Great job! I actually gave you Texas deliberately to make Mexico harder later.

But for the next country... what can you do with... Sierra Leone?

Sierra Leone Pack:

1) Giant pangolin, because it's the largest pangolin and it would be nice to have an African one too.

2) Red river hog, they look different enough to other pigs in the game.

3) African dwarf crocodile, because we don't have any croc from Africa and it is very different from the saltwater crocodile, mostly because of its size.

4) Exhibit: green mamba, because we need more venom animals.

Wow the Mamba looks great

Sure! Pet's go with Cambodia

For this one I will go with a theme pack. Personally I don’t love excessively themed pieces but for Cambodia there is the obvious pick of pieces that represent the architecture of Angkor Wat.

Eld’s deer/thamin/brow-antlered deer

Elegant and endangered, this would be a great addition to our zoos. The distinctive antlers make it stand out.

Cranes and storks would be very easy to implement and I’m surprised we haven’t had any. This would have been one of my choices for the South East Asia pack.

Indochinese spitting cobra

We don’t have a cobra, this snake is found in zoos and has quite a distinctive appearance.

Oh man, I'd have included your roster of my Myanmar Mini-Pack too lol. (especially when the name 'thamin' is a Burmese word for 'deer')

At any case here's my roster.
Fishing Cat -one of the endangered wild cat species frequently found in zoos.

Hog Badger - we've always needed more small mammals, esp. small carnivores!

Javan Mouse Deer- seriously, one of the unsung cuties of the animal world!

Burmese Star Tortoise (exhibit) - A truly endemic species to Myanmar, threatened by illegal pet trade.

Yo frontier, when can i buy this? This pack is amazing

How about Haiti?
I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed making this one, easily my favourite I have made so far.

Hispaniolan Hutia (Plagiodontia aedium)
The formerly diverse endemic mammal fauna of Hispaniola (the Caribbean island on which Haiti is located) has been devastated by humans, with only two species of terrestrial mammals surviving the onslaught of habitat destruction, hunting and introduced species. The singular rodentian survivor is the endangered Hispaniolan Hutia. Being of a similar to the Meerkat, it would not be too small to add to the game and any chance for a rodent is a good one.

Hispaniolan Solenodon (Solenodon paradoxus)
Hispaniola's other surviving terrestrial mammal and one of two living species of solenodon, a lineage of insectivores that diverged from other living mammals before the extinction of the non-avian dinosaurs. Like the hutia, it is also of substantial enough size to be added to the game as a habitat animal. But make sure your keepers take caution, for solenodons are among the select few species of mammal known to be venomous!

Roseate Spoonbill (Platalea ajaja)
Widespread across South America and coastal areas of Central America, the southeastern USA and the Caribbean, the Roseate Spoonbill also calls Haiti home. This large and colourful wading bird would make a great addition to the game's limited avian roster.

1800

Rhinoceros Iguana (Cyclura cornuta)
Almost looking like a retro Iguanodon depiction, complete with nose horn, this is one cool looking lizard. My personal preference would definitely be for this to be a habitat animal (my local zoo keeps them in a big open air enclosure), but given the other iguanas - including the equally large Green Iguana - are stuck as exhibit animals for now I thought it would only be fair if it was given the same treatment. Hopefully they will all be freed of their glass prisons in the future. This would also make the exhibit animal the largest species in the pack, which is quite the irony.
