Lets Talk Engineers, what ship do you want to modify?

I never had the Pre-nerfed Python? what was the big fuss about?

It handled like a viper and had the same shields the FDL has now, so basically take the FDL give it 3large/2medium and ~280 cargo space ;)

Edit: oh and more jump range :p

Id like to add one more slot to the hauler so it can be of more use in horizons. The buggy bay taking up a lost really limits this amazing space taxi.

I hope to be able to make my Python as fast as the Clipper and with a jump range like the Asp Explorer.
I also would like a Asp Explorer jump range on my Clipper. :)
To turn the "Cobra" Mk IV into a real Cobra, would be nice.

But we'll see.

Damn sound like my dream ship. I never had the money in Beta to try one.

I think people overestimate what these engineers will be able to do...There must be a tradeoff, otherwise there will be lots of OP ships flying around.

It was a dream ship, i'm reluctant to admit it was disgustingly OP :p - the current FDL is getting close, its probably as good in combat and it might even surpass it when they add better huge hardpoint options but the fact remains the FDL doesn't have 280 cargo space lol.

I still live in hope that one day i'll dock and i'll be able to get one again.

If I even get to meet one of "The Engineers" I'll ask for the maximum Charisma perk(FO4 reference) so I can talk them into moving to Eravate where new cmdr's could learn how to do things in this game and help them pimp their ships.

I'd like to modify my beloved Python to return his taken 17% speed and agility in cost of some internals maybe?
:)

The Beta Grind was brutal... Those times when you visit chango dock in E:D Horizons and think: "All the tones of fish that I flew out of here..".
I know still remember those days. Coffee and fish was the money maker

Pre nerf Python was great. Just recently though, i have been wondering how it would stack up with todays ships, iirc the Vulture or FDL wasn't around at that time, and the FAS certainly wasn't. Would be great to throw it into that mix.

Even if its speed was left the same as now, but its old agility came back, it would offer a 'third' way along with the FDL and FAS.

Bottom line, it was ahead of its time.....
