Steiner Mine++ [Medium Security] in Lembava A 3, Extraction Layout - Medium Security.
Every node after the first can be scanned from ground.
Setttlements - MEF candidates? Are there any base types where the data points are not elevated. I am really struggling with using boost and have gone through 10 SRVs after getting stuck, destroying them etc. Thanks for the guide..
Ops, sorry. L2M is my old - original - classification. Thanks Yes I mean bases where you can get a chance of MEF without flying, climbing or boosting. Sorry for my lack of knowledge but what is L2M, M3M how do i know what sort of base is which in game? Many thanks
Yes, only don't expect that there will be MEF drop after each scan - there is only certain probability of this.So in otherwords I should be able to find MEF if i try enough a S2M base layouts without climbing flying and boosting? just driving on planet around the base?
Thanks for your help its really been annoying me no being able to get the stuff.
since 2.1.05 - yes, looks like this, but only FDevs know what they can tweak in the next big update =)There are a few and some are close will try i understand the damn RNG! It would seem at a guess that the medium security rating is key to there being a chance of MEF?
As far as I've observed:In some cases I do just get the message after I scanned all data points:
"Alert: All Data Points telemetry links established. Intel package created."
But I do not get any kind of data. Do I miss something or can a station be also "empty"?
See picture
P.S. the first encoded collection were from a previous station...

3)The only reason so far for not getting *any* data from a settlements reported in this thread means - you have full data storage=)
Hope this helps
That was the one... oh my god! Thanks to helping me see the obvious!
I'we already submitted there a post with the link to this thread a couple of weeks agoThis should be linked to the helpful engineering sites thread.
