Bravo, Cmdr Lurius!
At least now I know that there is someone else who like to draw treasure maps=)
+rep
BTW, personally I prefer direct shortcut form DAP1 to DAP2 (or CDT3) without a loop to right (or sometimes using central bridge as artificial covering is less slippery.

Ah, I know, I've tried to scan even the first one from the groun - but have't succeded - as distance is neaby ok - problem with turret elevation only=)

Brand new map uploaded for M2M (Medium Size - Refinery - Medium Security) also with my DAP scan run path suggestion.
Also, this map includes some new features:
- objects indexing
- quality (and quantity) of base ground defenses
- Number of DAP's and corresponding timer value
- icon describing RAF parameters (restricted area for flight) - trespassing height and minimum approach distances from different directions in relation to TTD, with suggested direction marked by green arrow
- logo added

Are there any base types where the data points are not elevated. I am really struggling with using boost and have gone through 10 SRVs after getting stuck, destroying them etc. Thanks for the guide..

Setttlements - MEF candidates?
Yep, here are some layouts where you dont need to climb/boost/fly
Large: L2M,L3M
Medium: M2M, M3M, M4M (dont't have info on M6M)
Small: any

Also, I rather prefer to climb then boot/fly when this is the only option.

Thanks Yes I mean bases where you can get a chance of MEF without flying, climbing or boosting. Sorry for my lack of knowledge but what is L2M, M3M how do i know what sort of base is which in game? Many thanks

Ops, sorry. L2M is my old - original - classification.
where
letter at first position - in-game size (Large+++/Medium++/Small+/Tiny)
Number denotes layout type
letter at third position - in game security level (Low/Medium/High)
Basically all this is assembled and described in my settlement's mapping spreadsheet - check the first link in my signature
Some info available on "Welcome" tab, for settlement's layouts and maps check "ED:H 2.1 BIG" tab

PS: I've just thought that you have saw my "MEF candidates" spreadsheet - so you know all those codes as they are given there also

So in otherwords I should be able to find MEF if i try enough a S2M base layouts without climbing flying and boosting? just driving on planet around the base?

Thanks for your help its really been annoying me no being able to get the stuff.

Yes, only don't expect that there will be MEF drop after each scan - there is only certain probability of this.
Also, I don't know are there many S2M layouts in my list, so don't ommit other layouts I've named that do not require climbing/boosting.
And do not use drive assist=)

There are a few and some are close will try i understand the damn RNG! It would seem at a guess that the medium security rating is key to there being a chance of MEF?

Many thanks i got MEF at the 2nd settlement i visited Theodor Winnecke Landing+ in Galouri. You my friend and the others that have contributed to this post are legends

In some cases I do just get the message after I scanned all data points:
"Alert: All Data Points telemetry links established. Intel package created."

But I do not get any kind of data. Do I miss something or can a station be also "empty"?
See picture

P.S. the first encoded collection were from a previous station...

As far as I've observed:
1)All bigger than tiny settlements always provide some data
2)All really "tiny" settlements never provide "data" at all
3)The only reason so far for not getting *any* data from a settlements reported in this thread means - you have full data storage=)
Hope this helps

Edit: and looking at the screenshot provided I can say only - looks like a bug, however nothing similar encoutered by me.

That was the one... oh my god! Thanks to helping me see the obvious!

It's also worth mentioning that there is a "Data Point Intel Package" that you get for completing a data point scan that has a small credit value (usually 5k-10k credit). This appears your Transactions tab that can be turned into a station. Even if your data inventory is full for the data drops you will still get the "Intel Data Package" message which can be confusing if you don't know what you received. Similar to how you get a "Core Data Package" for scanning the CDT which appears in your inventory (around 600k-750k value) as soon as you scan the CDT, even if you're in the middle of a data point scan.
