Hello Commanders,

This question might have asked earlier but I need to check again if something have been changed since last update, When we scan data points in Scientific and industrial layouts do we get bounty ? or can we still scan the points in peace. Thanks for assistance.

Hmm, haven't heard about any changes (but I have't scanned anything recently). No updates has been announced in that domain, so I assume that they must be scanned freely as it was before.

So Scanning the data points in Scientific and Industrial layouts haven't any issue. Good I ll head over there tonight and try if I gain any bounty I ll reply this post again. Thanks Commander

Just finished scanning all the industrial layouts listed in the first post (apart from Sawyer Beacon) and I got:

15 x Modified Embedded Firmware
18 x Cracked Industrial Firmware

Didn't really care about the other data.

Good result. So, 11 bases, 15 MEFs (5 seeds?) - 0.45 seeds/settlement. Yes, good, but M5H (med industrial high-sec) looks better.

Dja Co-Pilot mapping service info:
Both locations lists - for editors and users - now have Shinrarta Dezhra as the default reference system (for distance calculations)

The best choice for MEF's so far - M5H layout (theoretically you can get 6 bases x 2 seeds x 3 units = 36 units just visiting those six bases, in practice - there are no registered "null" MEF results - data from 3 commanders - while visiting this layout)

Can you please define "2 seeds" in this case? And BTW i just got "null" MEF result at Libeskind Mine. =/

2 seed = 6 units in the on-board storage. However, this is a resulting mean value on the not so big data.

I don't see what the problem with Kokary 3 was. I landed in an Annie with D thrusters (modded, admittedly). Was a bit of a bumpy trek in the SRV, though!

Did the 89 Leonis list two days ago - 10 MEF, a little more CIF. Engineered me some L5 Overcharged blasters.

Did 5 M5M bases this afternoon, looking for CIFs. No CIFs, no MEFs, plenty of Security Firmware Patch and Unusual Encrypted Files, though, all of which I dumped.

Edit: base number 6 gave me 2 x Unusual Encrypted Files and ... 2 CIFs!

I'm still determined to find a way to get these without using the horrible SRV (I play keyboard and find it completely uncontrollable and really frustrating), been searching missions for a while... loads of exquisite focus crystals, which other threads say are super rare, but no MEFs.

What about space sources? USSs? There's always a way round using the SRV.
