Did you tried Kokary 3 - SAWYER BEACON before adding it to the list ?
You can't land close to it, so you have to travel 10 km. With a mountain and a 2G gravity, it take 20 min.
Then the gravity prevents you to go on top.

I sure did! I ended up landing as close as I could which was still several km away. I managed to get up a steep slope that led to the settlement by driving sideways in stages and I found that if I drove backwards I could gradually make progress despite the gravity. For some reason driving backwards has more traction than going forwards, not sure why but it can help you get up slopes that would otherwise be inaccessible. The process of driving up the slope was still very slow and took me around 45 mins to reach the settlement. To get to the top of the building I again found that driving forwards and boosting wasn't giving enough momentum/traction. Instead I tried driving backwards, boosting, and angled the SRV so that I had the right angle and just enough momentum to drive backwards along the sloped sides of the building the rest of the way to reach the roof. It took several attempts and SRV repairs (as I was driving backwards and guessing at the timing) but it was achievable. Back when I first created the list shortly after 2.1 launched I wasn't certain if the bases would reset so I was quite motivated to get all the MEF I possibly could so I didn't want to give up on a base if it were possible to complete it.
The main reason I keep Sawyer on the list at this point is for historical reasons since my original data set includes Sawyer Beacon. There are other reasons to attempt it as it is a good test of your SRV driving skills and provides a good challenge if you enjoy driving the SRV. Several other players have posted that they were able to complete Sawyer Beacon as well so it is definitely something that is achievable although it is probably near the limit of the terrain/gravity that the SRV can handle.
7 multi cannons x 20+ rolls each ..... dat grind.
Has the RNG changed? I have scanned 10 sites today and only one drop. Grrr.

Thank you, Devari! In fact, actually I'm trying hard to catch up with all content available prior to 2.3 (with a big list of todos and associated projects). But yep, there will be never enough of in-game contentWelcome back Djadjok!
It's a good time to come back to the game if you've been away for a bit, between Thargoids, upcoming gameplay improvements and their recent fix for the Engineering exploit that certain PvP players had been abusing it's looking like Elite gameplay is going in the right direction. There's probably going to be a lot of players interested in getting MEF and other data so your mapping services will continue to be very much appreciated!
As a conclusion for this really long thread - MEF has reappeared as a mission reward - update 2.3.11=)

Hmmm... For base-run route planning my suggestion is to try EDPathfinder tool - hereIs there a list that has a good route patch. going from top to bottom on this list puts you at random places. is there a route we can so we aren't ping ponging back and forth?
I saw one down on the list that goes right back to where The first or second one on the list started. just a few jumps away.
