OT: Anyone with questions for Ben Parry for next week?

I got one.

Since this game eventually will get things like planetary landings and having the ability to walk around inside your ship/stations and probably planets down the line I'm just wondering how this is being handled in regards to the current design. How is this being planned for? Are you leaving "headroom" to be able to show these things of at a later date?

Oh...and are you better at positioning your camera view than Mike Evans? :p
 
Two questions (I'm greedy):

Apart from the obvious, what's the defining features of a good graphics programmer? What skills are most important?

What's your opinion on the Lua in Elite Dangerous debate?
 
Question for Ben:
How does the procedural generation element of this game fit into your day to day work?
E.g.:
  • Are you defining formulas,
  • just tweaking formulas but someone else created them,
  • none whatsoever,
  • what's Procedural generation? :rolleyes:

Psykokow ... I hope you realise, that when the game is released (or even in Alpha or Beta) you are so in for it from every Frontier employee ;)
